Tattoo Opinion.

you should get a tatoo that says “guess my race”. That would be sick!

so i don’t want to start another racism argument but i was thinking of getting a tatoo of a german eagle, like at the start of the post, not the one with the swastika, like the “Prussian Eagle” or the one that is on some of the german flags i’ve seen, i think you should be able to find a picture on the link below, please help me because i don’t want to get a hate symbol, just something to show people i’m proud of my german heritage

(Prussian Eagle)

(German Eagle)

I’ve seen too many barbed wire tattoos on too many frat-curlers to agree.

Seems to me, if Pamela Anderson has the tattoo, then it’s not all that cool.
Agreed, no offense to anybody who has the barbed wire tattoo as I don’t know you but it seems like every guys in between the ages of 16 - 24 who thinks they are a rock hard gangster has this tattoo. BTW, they are white, live in a nice home with their parents and live in a city with a very low murder rate. :stuck_out_tongue:

Barbed wire tattoos are for poofs.

This may be a slight hijack, but here is a picture of the tattoo I’m getting once I get up to a lean 210 or so. Obviously, there is way too much detail in this to make the entire thing a tattoo. So, I’m dummying down a lot of the colors and actually just having the guy with horns/wings crouching in front of the setting sun put on my shoulder.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

Oops, I knew I forgot to attach the pic.
Aristocrat,

That does not look very tattooable. Your idea of the horned guy with wings crouching in front of the setting sun sounds much better than the pic. I suggest you look for a similar pic that is already dummyied down and then add the colors to your liking. It is a cool idea and pic…good luck

OP,

go with the first one…no black outline just red on the shoulder(delt) good luck

Personally, I say get a tatoo on your ass like mine. It says, “SMACK HERE”.

wow i really like this. I’m all about the color tattoos although you said you are dummying it down a bit (i’m pretty sure you’d have too cause theres a bit too much detail in there).

My parents are from Ireland and I have a tat of a celtic cross. It’s a symbol of my heritage and my religion. People come on here to say it’s racist or symbolizes skin heads is BS.

i’m with you.
also the eagle was a nazi symbol, does it means that USA main symbol is nazi? i don’t think so…

LOL Read this:
http://www.adl.org/hate_symbols/neo-nazi_eagle_swastika.asp

The eagle ON TOP OF a swastika was a Nazi symbol, not just the eagle itself. Are you now arguing that the swastika is seen just like the symbol of an eagle? Very few symbols evoke the emotional response as that of the swastika. Unless you are going to argue against this, what exactly are you agreeing with? No one here said anything negative about a celtic cross.
if you think the adl is reliable source for hate symbols you’re sorrily mistaken. perhaps you’re a little biased towards Christian symbols? The fylot is no more against jews than the star of david is against white gentiles, one could make the argument it’s less since the star of david was created by white gentiles… It’s time to reclaim the swastika as a benevelent symbol and not the hate symbol insecure pansy asses like Prof X claim it is.

Will do!

I kind of regret getting my tattoo. I was drunk and overseas so I was in the ‘heat of the moment’ you could say. Now everytime I take off my socks I am reminded of that night…10 years ago…lol. Seriously consider what you are getting tattoo’d on yourself because it could hurt your career.

Don’t get a tattoo. Why join the “rebellious and self expressive” ranks of the once counter-culture? Tattoos are so main-stream,… so 1998. I don’t even notice tattoos anymore because everyone has at least one! Like piercings, they’re hardly cutting edge. We’ve become a society divided between fashion followers (designer brands), and anti-fashion followers (tattoos and piercings)!

Back in 1981, I spiked my hair. I got called “faggot” and “David Bowie” everywhere I went. But within 3 years, everyone got spiked hair (after Arnold did in in one of his movies). People are sheep.

Then again, my opinion is probably based on the fact that I make art for a living, so why would I want to wear art on my skin? Whatever.

Dude…that was a joke

Although Steve-O, from Jackass, has a tat on his ass that says “Your Name Here”. Cracks me up!!!

You can’t be serious. The swastika has been ruined by the Nazi’s, just leave it alone. If murdering millions of people under it’s flag is not a reason to consider a symbol tainted, what is? I consider anyone who feels that way a sane human being, not an ‘insecure pansy ass’.

Nazi Germany was only 63 years ago. A lot more recent than the heritage that a lot of people seem to base their tattoo choice on.

I know no one in this thread claimed a swastika as a heritage symbol, and no one probably will. Just saying that if symbols used by your ancestors more than a 100 years ago, like a rune or a flag, have value to you, please consider that the way the Nazis used the swastika a lot more recently, has definately set it’s meaning in stone for most people.

More on topic, how about a tattoo consisting of words that have meaning to you, set in an original type? I also know people who have used math-symbols or computer code for tattoos. Just make sure it’s still important to you in 30 years, so not your girlfriends name.

I just want to start off by saying this has turned out to be a really great thread.
I think that if you believe in white power and all that other stuff it should be your freedom to do so. Thankfully it is also the rights of blacks and jews to live and live in peace. I also think that 99.9% of people in North America in general that would call themselves a Nazi no NOTHING about nazism at all other then the hatefull parts. Even then they probably don’t even understand why they actually hate non whites in the first place; and I am takling about a godo reason, not something like (they look funny, or they smell like curry).
I would also be willing to be that 99.9% of peopel that call themselves a Naza would cry there eyes out if they were to be working in a Death camp and had to perform the taskes that the real Nazi’s had to perform.

I’m curious if all the “respecters” were defending the muslim outrage following the danish mohamed cartoons.

It’s your skin, why on earth should you care about how people perceive your largest organ?

Gods, I guess we oughta be thankful that the nazis weren’t into hardcore bodybuilding, else even for Prof X, anything over 200 lbs or the whole concept of bulking would be out of the question.

To me it’s a sun, religious symbol, and a fucking good luck symbol, nothing more nothing less. While I don’t condemn the Nazis for everything they did and certainly not for how they felt, I would rather not be associated with them. I also think the Nazis had more of a negative effect on white people after the war(played a big role in white guilt ect.) I’m not going to abandon the flyot because it offends Jews, pussies, and the like. It’s a symbol of my great people and will always be sacred to me. I believe whites have a right to preserve themselves as much as any other race and if that kind of equality might seem a bit too pro-white for you, too fucking bad…WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO EXIST!
