I dont think T-Nation sells them.
You’re not going to have any problems with nalgene or any of their knockoffs. I’m not sure what you’re looking for in the cool department.

I like the one from Netrition with the screen to help mix stuff. Just don’t lose the gasket.

Dont worry about that. Rockscar will always send you another one.

The Cadillac of shakers - able to mix anything with just a few flicks of the wrist, hehe http://blenderbottle.com/

i cant belive T-Nation doesent have there own shaker bottle w/ logo… places like SND u get a free one if u spend over 100$, and im sure it would be an exellent way to grow the company

Well, in my opinion, I’m glad that Biotest doesn’t do the standard gimmicky bullshit and just sticks to making affordable, high-quality supplements. Also, their special deals always involve actual supplements, as opposed to cheap plastic crap. Fine by me. So, how about some Spike Shooter samples…

Out.

Wow… Thats a cool idea. I just might have to snag one of those.

Can anyone make suggestions on a QUALITY shaker bottle?

That’s guaranteed NOT to leak, and preferably a non-screw on lid?

The Blender bottle is the best shaker I have ever used hands down!

Does not leak!

I agree, I don’t see it wearing out for a long time.

Get a Blender Bottle. You will never need another shaker bottle.

For the price of one blender bottle, although they look very nice, you can get a dozen mason jars. Glass, will never leak, and mixes everything perfectly. I’ve used mason jars for years now, and they will work for many other uses as well (i.e. tupper wear, glasses, ect…)
just a thought.

Do you work for the company? I ask because I bought 3 bottles to try out, and I think the bottles are terrible.

They don’t mix well, and that little whisker thing doesn’t get the clumps of protein that build up around the bottom of the shake. Maybe you only put in a scoop of protein, though?

Plus, there is no screen to prevent clumps of protein (or ice) from coming up the “lip” of the shaker.

I’m pretty ticked at how poorly these shaker bottles work, and I’m going to request a refund. (If you have ties to the company but didn’t disclose it, then you’re a scumbag.)

The best shaker bottles I’ve used are from Elite Fitness (elitefts.com). The “screen” makes a world of difference. (I have NO ties to the company, though I wonder if the Blender Bottle people didn’t send some in some plants to this thread!)

Uh, no, I don’t work for the company, and wouldn’t be trying to sell them on here if I did, LOL.

All I know is it’s the best shaker I’ve ever used. Maybe the instructions weren’t quite detailed enough for you…simple mind maybe? And a conspiracy theorist to boot?

just go to vitamin shoppe. They sell them for like three dollars. I get like 3 or 4 at a time. They dont leak at all, and I have found i dont even need the screen that they come with as Grow! and/or my workout shake mix fine without it. I also use them drink smoothies in the car on the way to work in my nice suit with strawberry protein shakes if they leaked i would be f&cked so I am pretty confident they work.

I agree, the Vitamin Shoppe shakers work well. My second favorite from GNC. Even with a snap on lid (vs. screw-on) there no leaks. All the other ones i have with the rubber gasket leak

YMMV…

I thought you worked for the company because there was no other explanation for why someone would recommend such an inferior product. The base of the shaker is too narrow. Thus, when you put in two scoops of protein (On reflection: I’m guessing you make girlie-shakes and thus don’t have this problem), clumps of powder cling to the bottom of the shaker.

A good shaker must have the two following attributes:

  1. A wide base. This way, the protein is less likely to cling to the bottom-side of the shaker.

2 A screen. This does two things. It keep the user from drinking a clump of powder. Also, it keeps the drinker from having to use his tongue to “knock” down ice cubes that try sneaking up through the mouthpiece.

The blender bottle lacks both attributes. Though I suppose it’s fine if you’re only using half-a-scoop of protein for your shakes.

I agree, on both counts. The Blender Bottle shakers are the best around. You can’t get a better shaker. I also agree on the conspiracy theorist idea. This guy has shown that countless times on this board. Heh to each his own. My guess was he was using low quality protein powder that wouldn’t mix well regardless of the shaker. All I know is the blender bottles even mix M-Drive Complete very well, which is much thicker than regular M-Drive.

You’re an arrogant little shit aren’t you? You seem to forget you called him a “scumbag” first- so his reaction at calling you “simple” was justified. If you’d even spent 5 minutes on this site you’ll see that the Blender Bottles are recommended all over here. Just do a search. So having him recommend one in this thread is nothing new and was expected. If he hadn’t said it, I would have.

Just because you had a bad experience with the product does not make it inferior, especially when far more people have had good, if not great, experiences with the same product.
