Today I went to the gym and I saw a bodybuilding.com gym bag and then when I started lifting I must’ve saw 3 other people wearing bodybuilding.com t-shirts. I thought to myself wow, they must have some loyal customers. But then I found out that bb.com gives away free apparel to customers on orders over $75; ranging from t-shirts, hats to even a Jamie Eason calendar!
Now personally, I have never bought from bb.com and wouldn’t because I am perfectly happy with what T-Nation has to offer. However, I wish more people knew about T-Nation and what it is to be a real T-man. I heard of T-Nation through a personal trainer and if I never spoke to him I would probably have no idea that T-Nation existed.
With that said, I would like to see Testosterone.net more well known. I don’t know if the mkt strategy of T-Nation is deliberately low key and more word of mouth to have a niche of loyal customers, but I do believe many gym goers could benefit from what T-Nation has to offer. Afterall, the information I found here has helped me to rehabilitate my herniated disc and put on 30lbs of weight in a 6 month span.
So how about it T-Nation, how bout you give some free marketing tools to your highest level members. If they are spending all that money on supp’s I am sure they are pretty big dudes. And other gym goers would definitely take notice.

I’m not trying to start a war, but what is overpriced on that site? That is where I get all my supplements. I cannot find better prices anywhere else. Only thing I order online is Animal Pak, ZMA, and protein bars.

This actually is true. That is because they sell supps from a multitude of companies. And they do have some of the cheapest prices around. (I usually will price shop between BB.com, Anabolic Minds and Bulk Nutrition.) I like to be able to buy from different manufacturers and will do a ton of research before I spend my hard earned cash. And since I have chemistry and biology degrees, and am a raging sceptic, I’m pretty hard to fool.
Those little estro-fuckers are coming from the ads Biotest has in Muscle & Fitness and are the demographic that Biotest is targeting.
I have my own BB.com T-shirt collection and they make great bike polishing cloths. But the shaker bottles leak.
BTW, my husband is in the “swag” business, and I know just how cheap T-shirts can be when bought in quantity. Trust me, you’d be surprised.
And I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Biotest or Testosterone T-shirt, just as I wouldn’t wear a GNC T-shirt.
It’s hard to market T-Nation because it caters to the rare breed of serious, dedicated and science-minded lifters. Besides, you wouldn’t want to have more trolls running around the forums.

Or maybe they are just average dudes with an extreme consumer mindset. A lot of people think you can just buy a good physique.

BWAHAHAHAHAhahahah…oh…oh…you’re killin’ me…got to catch my breath…
Have you looked around this site at ALL?
Here, let me edit that for you:
“…because it caters to the common breed of naive, desperate college kids that still think that supps will make you HYOOOGE (I think I’m supposed to insert the obligatory Bro’ in here somewhere) and are necessary for productive training.”
