I’m not angry. But then, pretty much no matter what is written here, someone will perceive it that way…and goodness only knows why.

Like has been said, it is the WAY you said your opinion and yes, while it is nice you “retracted” a comment, it still went out for everyone to see in the first place.

I didn’t read the whole thread, so sorry if it’s taken a turn away from the OP but…

I do wish there was a “work safe” option to the website. I got in a bit of trouble (not really, but a baaaaad look) a couple of years back when I was reading some weightlifting article with some kind of “sexy pic” and my (female) boss happened by. I guess I just shouldn’t be reading it at work, but…well… I do like this site. So my vote goes to some sort of “work safe” button on the “hub” so I can read Sex and the Male Animal at home and turn it off at work.

My 2 cents.

What caused an issue in this thread was the attitude like “naked ass is ok but if we see one more bodybuilder with his shirt off on the front page, we can’t take it anymore”. Having an avatar like the OP made it even more ridiculous…but yes, you have a point. I have gotten dirty looks before when actually replying to a post that was strictly related to some science issue because of the avatar of one of the posters being on the screen (one with a lady with huge tits squeezing them for the camera over and over).

I doubt I would get the same reaction from them seeing a bodybuilder on the screen since they already know I lift, but having that option to turn it off would help in some situations.
