Fall and Football…best time of the year!!
American Girl, are you from NE? I’m in Lincoln. Looks like a bleak year. I’m predicting 4-7. Go Huskers!
I’m in Lincoln as well. 4-7? With our schedule? Are you kidding?
The Big 12 North is probably the weakest collection of FB programs in the BCS right now. You should be thankful the South division is on such an upswing. Although with OU and OSU playing the way they have recently and with a smoke and mirrors program like Texas Tech and Baylor still being Baylor, I’m not so sure they’re as stacked as they’ve been recently. This could be a two-team conference with Texas and Texas A&M being the clear frontrunners.

Those of us in Big 12 North Country areh’t happy at all about it either. I stand by 4-7. Baylor, Kansas, Missouri. We’ll win 2-3 of those. The other games…If we can’t pull it together offensively for Maine and Wake, we’re in trouble. The line sucks. I heard a rumor they stopped doing squats here. Where do you work out at in Lincoln. I’m at Gyear.
While I’m not a fan of the Texas Longhorns, I always want the Big XII teams to win their out of conference games (the OK loss to TCU was funny, but could go to screw the entire conference’s standing if they do well against the Big XII) so the Texas win against Ohio State is awesome and solidifies that we can kick some ass. I would’ve watched the game, but was too busy watching my team pummel some WAC group called NMSU 39-0, I’m sure we could’ve done the Texas/Nebraska thing and ran the score up on NMSU, but the second stringers played the majority of the second half, and still shut them out!
GO BUFFS!
We play Miami in Miami in 2 weeks… This is gonna be a big one for us!

LSU LSU LSU LSU!!! GO TIGERS!!!
I gotta say, that was incredible… My GF and I just nestled into bed and were watching the tail end of that game nearly in tears after watching that last touchdown. And we’re safe and sound in Cali. Must have been an awesome thing for the folks affected by Katrina to see that thier team can overcome and be victorious. Then, the Saints won yesterday as well… Totally amazing.
The game started out kind of dry. Both sides making rookie mistakes and LSU could not stop the screen pass. We almost thought we would lose until the final few plays. Talk about elation. We are so happy to see them win, no matter how sloppy the victory was.

I’m a BCS busting Utah Ute. (Fiesta Bowl Champs) Although coach Whit is doing a great job, Urban Meyer is missed. I must say, I have turned into a Gator fan, simply because Urban Meyer is one of the best. Go Gators!

The University of South Carolina Gamecocks!!! how many times do you get to see beautiful southern bells in tiny black dresses yelling “GO COCKS!!!”
oh, one more thing…“the 'ol ball coach is back” chomp on that florida
I’m not worried about Spurrier or the Cocks. We’re going to whoop their ass. They couldn’t beat Georgia, and they won’t beat Florida.
georgia: awsomely athletic quarterback
florida:… who is florida’s quarterback anyway?
georgia: solid running game
florida: not since emmit smith
georgia: solid defense
florida:…don’t make me laugh
now, the million dollar question is, what has florida done since steve spurrier left…nothing
by the time the florida game rolls around, we wont be shooting ourselves in foot like with georgia(i.e. illigel shift penalty=called back touchdown, missed extra point, missed field goal, missed two point conversion,}=12points)
wrastlerboy
p.s. the best things to have come from UF: emmit smith and gatorade
georgia: awsomely athletic quarterback
florida:… who is florida’s quarterback anyway?
You gotta be kidding. You don’t know Chris Leak? You haven’t heard of him? The number one quarterback out of high school a few years back? LOL!
georgia: solid running game

Wynn can run. Don’t worry, we’ll be doing plenty of it all over the competition.
georgia: solid defense
florida:…don’t make me laugh
Much improved over last year. And we have plenty of offense too!
And how many times has Georgia beaten Florida in the past 15 or so years? Two.
With Zook? Some good recruiting. With Urban Meyer? The Gators will reign supreme in the SEC once again.
I’m sure the Cocks will manage to shoot themselves in the foot yet again. They always do. And they will continue to lose against the Gators, as they have every year for the past 15 or more years in a row.
But for now, it’s time to get revenge on the Vols! Should be a good game.
The Gators took an ALA-BEATING this past weekend. But I expected that to happen. Alabama has been underrated this season. Now, hopefully the Gators will get there asses in gear and stop F’ing around and win more games!!!
How about that old fashion wood shed butt whippin’ Bama laid on the Urban Myth and the Gators! I would like everyone to say a prayer or send a nice thought to Tyrone Prothro, Bama’s outstanding receiver/Mr. Everything that broke both his tibula and fibula during the game. Roll Tide!!!
Anyone that wants to send get well wishes to Tyrone Prothro can send them here: Tyrone Prothro c/o Alabama Football, 323 Paul Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487.
That Alabama win couldn’t have come at a better time. Just when my UF buddies were chanting for an NC. Sorry guys time to sit and mope about the only 1 you’ve got.
