LOL @ Lanky… I KNEW I should have joined earlier instead of just lurking all those years… now I’m stuck as an '09 member forever… hopefully the 2010 class will be worse (is that possible???)

If I were you, I’d rejoin in 2010 and simply hope the 2010 members are better.

Don’t think I haven’t thought about it! But with my luck 2010 would start great and then go to shit and be even worse… maybe someone from 2009 will redeem us… maybe

That is a huge pile of shit your looking to shovel man.
Oh, I didn’t say I was going to be the redeemer… I’m not shoveling all that shit… Hell, I gotta save my strength for the gym

LMAO

Pumping out one article a day, four days a week (minus the Atomic Dog column), week in and week out, pretty much without fail… and people are getting mad that things tend to grow stale?

If you want badass articles, check out the archives and go back to the beginning and a few years forward.

Oh, and quick question: what the hell is the Level system for, anyhow? I get that it shows how much a customer has purchased (even though I was a lvl 3 up until a few months ago…), but why is this anyone’s business BUT the customer?

When it first came out, we were lead to believe that there would be certain benefits/privileges based upon what level you happen to be… whatever happened to that? Seems like its only use anymore is to deflect the criticism of people who frequent this site.

It is quite sad when people start to complain about free advice/articles. If you want every article tailored towards your needs, PAY someone to write them for you! Have an open mind and realize there is something to learn in every article, whether it applies to your current situation or not. The folks on T-Nation are doing a great job appealing to more than just “yourself”, as hard as that is to swallow.

Don’t worry about your level, guys. I know an easy way to get to level 5.

Maybe CS doesn’t like to sugar coat shit and tells it how it is. He has nothing to lose telling off that guy. He actually gains a little more respect from me, cuz guy has some cajones.

Not for nuthin… but it doesn’t take “cajones” to tell someone off on the internet.
I don’t mean it in that retrospect. I’m talking in the sense of losing a potential customer or fan of T-Nation.

By the way, Chris’s mentioning his “Level 0” was totally on the mark.

The OP is like the illegal alien who bitches about his welfare check.

So you contribute NOTHING to the site, get lots of (archived) stuff for free yet you think it’s ok to bitch about the free ride you’ve gotten so far?
If he is level 0 and doesnt like the articles on here, why the hell would you get on here and post unless you are a complete troll.

That’s not how you use the word, “Retrospect.”

Don’t have anything to add to the actual thead.

People ,at times, need to be reminded that this site is free. There have been great articles, so-so articles, and articles that just plain suck. Take the bad with the good and be happy Tim and TC dont start charging for monthly access, I would be surprised if they haven’t at least thought about it.
Charging for monthly access? Seriously? The site, articles and all, is essentially an advertisement for their supplements & the contributors services.

I talked this chick into doing the V-Diet. She never heard of T-Nation, but ordered almost a thousand bucks worth of supplements, cuz of ME!

Can I have a higher level? PLEASE???!!!

lol! Semen!

You are all a bunch of marks. Has the OP even responded? Hook…Line…and Sinker. You’ve been played. He has 24 posts in 4 years.

T-Nation is a nice reference tool. But you have to keep in mind a few things:

 1. There are other high quality FREE sites out there with FREE information: Poliquin’s and Abel’s to name two.
 2. Those who work for this site need to make money.
 3. More supplements, more programs which are free of course but optimization requires more supplements, may drive some contributors away.

Just keep a clear head. Don’t pretend this place deserves to be up on a pedestal. Don’t pretend that anything you see here, I, BODYBUILDER included, is so groundbreaking that it will automatically lead you to 100lbs of growth in 1 year just because it has the T-Nation logo and Optimized Supplement Program stamped on it.

Everything that could be done, has been done except for a few rare instances (occlusion training maybe?). Successful people tend to find what works and we already know what works it’s just a matter of application. No program or article will make up for a lack of work ethic or bad dietary habits.

That being said, I’m sure I’ll try the I, BODYBUILDER workouts when they come out as they seemed pretty intense and “fun” in the video…in that I enjoy pain and discomfort sort of way.
