I’m not sure where you are from but Manseed may not go over well in Texas.
Though you are in Austin, you might want to consider changing that SN if you are wanting to meet lifting buddies.
One here at UT. Really can’t tell you about any gyms in Austin except the ones on campus, which are crowded as crap.

I was thinking either hyde park gym or pure austin. Anyone have feedback on those gyms?

I'm an aspiring T-Man, also a UT student. I train at the rec center here on campus (Gregory is out of control sometimes). We Austin guys need to stick together.
Definitely have to stick together. You have to watch out for all those scholarship convicts, er, athletes Brown keeps recruiting. If you ever get down to Seguin, stop at Seguin fitness. Gary has a wealth of knowledge on powerlifting.
