T - Level Question....

I’m looking at getting my t-levels checked.

To check my Total Test would cost me $38, while both Free and Total would cost me $178. Price really is no factor. What is the differenc b/w the 2, besides the obvious and what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

It is good to know the whole picture. You have your total T which is then broken down into free T and bound T. Free T is good and what gives us the wonderful benefits of T. Bound T is useless and isn’t doing anything good for you. So, for instance if you have a high total T count, but most of it’s bound it’s not very good.

I would also recommend a total blood profile while your at it everything good to know where your at health wise everywhere IMO while your getting stuck any way. Plus if the T is problematic having the results of pituitary function etc will aid in what avenue you and your physician take next.
