T Dose when Adding HCG for Fertility

So ima make my girl preggors. Im on 1g test and shit so things are shut down, my sperm was kinda low. (Funny enough all other blood markers etc were perfect LMFAO, hct was only 45).

So doctor is giving me HCG, and he told me to go down to atleast 400mg to “keep my muscle”.

My question is: does the dose of testosterone you are using even matter when you use HCG for fertility?

I was thinking of going down to 200mg as it might be better for my sperm count, but doc said it doesnt matter the dose as being shut down… is shut down.

He said he can sure put me on 200mg if I want, but I will most likely lose gym performance (which I will).

So what does the research say? Anyone?

It would make sense to me that it would be fairly independent of T dose. You are directly signalling balls to produce. I would think with a SERM, that T dose would matter way more.

Now, you might get worse side effects with HCG and higher T. Maybe E2 issues, but even that I am not convinced about.

How long have you been taking high doses of AAS?

Been on gear since 2017, different doses, cruises etc. Ive done 80mg a week and 1.2g a week. Used HCG sparringly for loads but 90% of the time, no hcg.

If you’ve been over a gram for awhile, going down to 400 mg/wk is probably good advice from your doctor. Unless you are a monster, you should be able to maintain pretty well on 400 mg.

I’d keep in mind that fertility can take a bit to come back. It might take you a year if you are not currently producing sperm.

I think this paper is a good source for the info you’re looking for.

Most subjects regarding non-TRT doses are going to be anecdotal, because most of the time men on cycle are going to come off, do a PCT and get fertile while perfectly natural.

How much HCG?

He had seen many body builders concieve when given 500 iu 3 times a week, if nothing happends gonna up it.

Right, you might need double that.

Your doctor told you with a straight face, go down to 400 mg T, and didn’t suggest 100 for TRT?

That is correct
