On the T-Dawg 2.0 diet, do you count vegetables like spinach and broccoli as carbs? I’v read elsewhere on T-Nation that such veggies can be “free foods” http://www.T-Nation.com/readTopic.do?id=464135
Here are the carb sources I’ve picked out so far to meet the 100g/day
Half bunch spinach 2.5 g / 10 cal
1 med. banana 24g /96 cal
Surge 50g/ 200cal
1 large peach 12.5g/ 50 cal
2 chopped cup broccoli 7g / 60cal
CHO Total = 96g 416 cal
Obviously I don’t have any starchy carbs in there, should I? I also didn’t count dietary fiber as carbs, am I doing this right?
Thanks
yeah most of your carbs should be around you guessed it workout and breakfast. I would nix the fruit, and go with a half a cup oatmeal for breakfast, and Surge postworkout. You could add in some beans on your off days.
Vegetables would be free but five servings of vegetables would equal 25 g of carbs, half a cup oatmeal, 25, Surge 50 , that give you your hundred for the day.
When I was on T-Dawg 2.0 I always counted a carb as a carb. If it was on the label than it was part of my carb consumption for the day.
I lost 37lbs in 5 months.

Thats funny…since fiber can’t be digested by the body and used as energy.
