Sweet Pollyanna in LaLa land

My video link didn’t post: Power cleans various sets - YouTube

Miscellaneous non lifting related crap:

I’m pretty much all alone at work today except for the two guys in the warehouse. I’m kind of lonely and resisting the urge to do something to get in trouble.

My tenant has moved out. He fucked up the dryer which I now need to get fixed and it looks like he started a fire in one of the outlets. Now i need an electrician.

Tonight I’m filling holes in the drywall and cleaning the layer of grease he left on every surface.

I also have to rent a carpet cleaner and clean the cat ass, fish stick smoke smell out of them.

On the bright side, the new tenant is painting.

question about the dryer. Did he cook fishsticks in it? That would be funny.

Do something to get in trouble. Seriously.

We are the only county department open today. Everyone else is having their 4th of July holiday. Sadly, my department (public library) is open seven days a week, so we get TOMORROW off as our holiday. Sigh. Oh well. Sure is quiet here today.

We are fully staffed but I think right now staff outnumber patrons. Well, except in the comptuter lab. The computer lab is ALWAYS busy. We literally have people lined up at the door waiting to get in in the mornings to use the computers.

I hate dealing with renters. Hm. WOnder what happened to the outlet. If it started on fire it could be the wiring–good to have it checked out! Fishsticks in the dryer would have been very creative. I am not adverse to the occasional fish stick, but prefer fresh fish. I once started a small riot in the staff room at work by eating smoked oysters on crackers for lunch. And another time when I brought leftover salmon.

Apparently it is not good lunchroom etiquette to bring fish. I told them to bite me. They all should eat fish to improve their brain function.

We have a lot of fishermen at work and they bring in smoked muskie. I love it but it does give off a god awful stank.

Sounds yummy to me. I do not think we have Muskie in Montana. Ha…like that, sounds like a bad country western song…muskie in Montana…those cowboys on the range sans benefit of hot water and soap…

I love that stank.

Nice cleans Jewels! I know there is a joke in here somewhere about eating fish… hmmmm…

You are big on the fish stick, cat and ass… hmm

You guys are a total riot about the fish situation. I spent my entire Friday evening spackling and cleaning the apartment. I’m reasonable sure I’ve eradicated cat taint and fish stick odour. It only took an entire bottle of oven cleaner and bathroom cleaner with bleach. I discovered cigarette burns on the bathroom linoleum. Now I’m forever stuck with the image of the ex tenant on the toilet taking a dumb smoking a butt. Fuck. I may have to bleach my brain.

On the bright side, I got my new squat suit today. It’s a Titan Centurian, Super NXG Plus size 30 wide stance. This is me after wedging myself into it. I’m making ground beef. I wanted to wear it for a few minutes to break it in a bit. Somehow, making ground beef seemed like a better choice than squatting. I really just wanted to see if I was able to get it on. It took a quite a bit of hanging off my squat rack and wedging and struggling. Then I was afraid to take it off.

I’m squatting tomorrow and can hardly wait to try it out.

What, no high heels to go with the squat suit at the stove?

Dan, you read my mind.

Damn. If I’d thought of it I would have, to pay you back for the cowboy had deadlifting video that I loved.

Saturday July 4 , Niagara PL Club

Warm up

Squat
45x10
95x5
135x5
165x3
195x1 belt
225x3 suit on straps down trying to get it seated.
265x2 suit on straps up/wraps both high
285x3x1 First two were borderline/high. Third was good.

I used the new suit but am not getting anything more out of it at least that I can tell yet. It was too easy to get on. Maybe when I move up to 60kg it will be better.

Bench
45x10
65x5
95x3
105x1
135x1 shirt on
145x0 dumped to my face
145x1 good

I arrived at 9:30 and left at 12:00. It’s crazy how long it takes when there are a bunch of people and chatting and whatnot.

I slept like crap last night so that likely didn’t help too much.

After training I took my girls to the beach. I looked super good with my squat suit/bench shirt marks in my bikini.

And you realize everyone around you felt bad for you… since you are obviously an abused woman!

You are too damn funny, lol! Wearing a squat suit… cooking ground beef… shit, you can’t make this stuff up, lol!

What’s next… wearing new knee wraps while taking a shower… (hint hint) pics ? lol!

That’s not terribly practical,as the wraps would get really soggy…

It took me a while to wrestle it on and I had to get dinner started before I attempted to peel it off. Depending on how tight it is, that alone can take a good while.

However, I’m returning the suit for either a size 28 or a custom. Training with it yesterday, I didn’t get anything more out of it than my old one. I could break parallel with body weight by the end of training. I used the Titan sizing chart for my weight class (56kg) and ordered competition fit based on that. Because of my height, I think I’m a lot slimmer through the hips and legs than someone else in my weight class. The other women are generally 4-5" shorter than I am.

A new competition fit suit should be a much bigger struggle to get into and break in. I emailed Louis because I need to get the new one and be able to have enough time to train before worlds.

Damn… bit of a piss off eh? You were probably pretty excited to try it, now more waiting. I would be going crazy.
