Lol

And I agree about the thoughts, big reason why I lifted alone in my garage for many, many years.

Thoughts are right on point as usual Rick. Nice job on the shoulder work, I am happy that my shoulder is just down to a twinge now and then, to me that may be as good as it gets. Slowly but surely on those presses.

Well said.

Morning germs and gents…

Nice little pump action going on this morning and the work felt pretty solid… I felt a lot of connective tissue working in the right direction this morning so I loaded her up a little and slowed down the reps… the look I got coming off the preacher from another heavy lifter said it all… he hated bending all the way down there to unpin that 170… get some brotha…

That concludes another fine product… toying with jumping in with about 4 weeks of a FST-7 prior to the 5/3/1… we will see… dialed my carbs WAY back this week and am starting to feel that constant edgy, alert, hungry all the time feeling… means my metabolism is cranking on up…

I get to do skullcrushers next week!!! I’m so happy!!!

I am too as long as the skull is not mine…

So the pump action came before the work?

Good work on the gunz big man, my right elbow does not like skull crushers for some reason.

Lol… more like grip strength exercises at home…

on the skulls, I use an EzBar… it helps some…

Ok, I will be the first to admit it… I was a lazy sloth this weekend… I did nothing… except read and watch ball… Dominus got her ink Saturday night and I wound up wearing an apron yesterday as I was throwing together my Cajun crab stuffed flounder… it is the one recipie I dearly love because it is the only one I have whereas the wine goes into the chef and not the bowl…

Started a new pre-workout supp this morning and brought back my 1,3 Dimeth on top of it… Love that stuff… Focus like a tack and a smooth, easy disposition…Lightly sprained right wrist this week will make things interesting and on top of that, I tweaked my left ankle during the one leg press… sucks getting old and weak… but it is what it is… crowded gym this morning so I had to do my first station on the smith until the squat rack cleared… I hate doing squats on that bastard…

Should be against the law to work period… too bad I wasn’t born rich and beautiful…

Nice wheel work Rick. Sprains, twists and tweaks seem to more part of the game than ever before.

Hell, if I didn’t wake up hurting I would think I was dead…

The wrist seemed to be a non-issue by night fall yesterday… I stretched it and did isometrics at my desk through the day and think it was just strained a little from the 110 bb I used on the forearm curls… might want to back that down a couple more weeks and see how it plays out.
The NOVEM is a keeper… as Lissa noted this morning, it really cranks up the furnace and a good effort will bring on the sweat… The 1,3 Dimeth bump really brings my focus to the bar like nothing else I have tried, so I think I have a winning combo… Today was one of the best chest routines I have had in a bit with a small, minor fussing of the delt on the Bar Inclines… I started at 45* and backed it to 30* to get out of the shoulder load while pushing heavier loads… speaking of heavy loads, my declines topped at 6 plates for the first time in nearly 2 years… they weren’t all that deep because I was watching the shoulder real close, but that bad boy moved 4 times… its just a matter of time…

Tuesday Chest specticle…

Sweaty mess… Shoulder felt pretty good today except on that incline. Looks like we can start leaning on it a bit more… progress…

I’m thinking 1 1/2 scoops of the Novem tomorrow…will see…btw, no live in massuse’s

There goes the 'lectric bill…

Glad the shoulder is getting better all the time. I have been sticking to the 30* inclines because the shoulder still doesn’t like the 45*. Solid chest work all around Rick.

Hi FlaBouy, sorry I didn’t get a chance to welcome you. Good to have another over 50 yr old around here. Very impressed by your avatar.

Don’t sweat it Cav… and thanks for the words…

No sleep last night and aggravated like a pissed hornet this morning… in other words, in the mood to lift shit… it amazes me sometimes how people see crap on the tube and set their whole life’s philosophy to it, even at the expense of how they view others… I would hope I never become that shallow or lazy of a thinker…

anyway… back to reality… I arrived, I lifted heavy shit, I left…
