Hey all, I am 32 yrs old, 6’4" and 218lbs. I am approx. 14% body fat. So, before I inject anything I know I need to get the BF% down. I have been training for 3+ years and hard and correctly for 1.5 of those years. My question is this…
I have access to either (15) amps Sust 250, or 15 amps TEST Enanthate.
The TEST E is a bit more pricey. I will be stacking either one with 40-60mg Dbol ED. I have read through every thread I can find on Sust, and I’d say it’s about 60% leaning towards Test E, and 40% leaning toward Sust.
I will be running a 7 week cycle w/ 500mg per week (250mg twice per week… say Monday and Thursday). Obviously there will be 1 amp left at the end of the cycle. Where the best place to slip this one in??
I am looking for hard mass building.
Thanks for the help!
Test E. Don’t mess with the sus. The short esters mean you should be shooting it about every other day, which is a mess with amps. Just go with the test e on Mondays and Thursdays and you’ll be fine.
However, 7 weeks is not long enough to get the real benefits of a test e cycle (or sus). You should be running it for at least 10, 12 is better. Because of the longer esters, the test won’t really “kick in” until the 4th or 5th week. On my first cycle, I didn’t really “feel” the test working or see the real gains from it until around the 5th week. Do you see why you want to go longer than 7.
If you can’t, you should just wait until you have enough gear to do so. Don’t waste your first cycle, as it’ll likely be your best.
Also, as this is your first time, you are likely to shatter an amp or two trying to open it. All things you need to think about.
I’m sure you have an aromatase inhibitor for use during your cycle and PCT lined up. Right?

I have time to wait to get the extra if it is available, since I am cutting fat for prob next 6 weeks.
Does it do me any good to step back to 250mg per week in two doses as in 125ea then stretch it out for 14 weeks?? Or just get more and stay at 500mg/week
And for AI and PCT I have 100 20mg Nolvadex on hand now.
My source also has TEST E 300 available… It is much less expensive but not sure if it is the way to go since it will be injected, also it is not in ampules, which could make it easier for the newbanator here.
At your height, I would STRONGLY recommend putting more time into getting your weight up naturally before going to test. You should be able to get to 230-235 very easily by eating plenty of calories and the right training. Trust me, I know. I’m 6’4" myself, and came out of college at 175 lbs. Now at 36 I’m 265 (but admitedly higher bf % than you) naturally, and just now considering my first cycle.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure you will put on great weight on a cycle of test, but 20-30 lbs on our frames isn’t that much, and you can do it without assistance. Squat and Pull heavy weights. Get to 240-250 before you run that cycle, I think you’ll be pleased.
Roofus, thanks for the advice. Good too hear from a fellow tall builder. My goal is 240 but to drop fat to around 10-11% and hold fast. Have you seen Cheick Kongo? That’s the physique I am after, nothing too crazy or my girl is going to disown me.
But yeah, I hear you! Since being on the 5x5’s I was stacking on nearly 1.5-2lbs per day. The problem was I was seeing my belly get bigger too. That was on 5000 calories per day, approx 700g carbs, and 375g Protein.
Now I am trying to cut by dropping to 2800 calories per day, 100g or less carbs per day, still staying with the 375g protein and adding two cardio days to my workout.
I am actually starting to see abs! This has been a tremendous confidence booster. So I will continue to cut down to where I have a good base, and then try this cycle. I am guessing that I will be around 210-213lbs when I start cycle. This give me the incentive to burn fat off somewhere in the range of 7lbs.
Then if I gain 20 from the cycle I’ll be a solid 230. Since Test aromatises to estrogen heavily in body fat, I don’t want to give it any place to stay.

Sorry, but I had to come back to this…I did some math. You report that you are 218 lbs @ 15% bf, and you are cutting weight before you start. If this is accurate, you are already skinny. You have 185 lbs of lbm vs. 32.7 lbs of fat on a long, 6’4" frame. Say you cut 5%, that is 16.35 lbs putiing you at about 201.5 lbs at the start of your cycle.
What are you eating…rather what WERE you eating before you decided to cut? What does your training look like? I ask because when I was first trying to reach 200 lbs., I had to eat between 5000-7000 calories per day, and I put on the weight without laying on fat. I also highly recomend the anabolic diet. That’s how I got from 200-225, and I did it while LOSING fat. Please, take it from one Former Skinny Bastard to another (current) Skinny Bastard…you can put on more weight first!!

Sorry, I was typing my other response before I saw this one. I would really recomend the anabolic diet for you to try. It allowed me to put on the muscle while allowing me to actually lose 1" off my belly. I know what you’re talking about physique wise. I walked around for a couple years at 225 and about 8% bf. But I got greedy and decided it wasn’t enough! Granted some of my current weight is from poor diet and finally a slower metabolism, but I am currently trying to hit 280-290 so that I can finally “trim” down to a solid 250 or so. It sucks to tell people you weigh 265 and your arms are only 16" cold!!
Roofus, thanks for the quick reply. I am fairly skinny, everywhere but the belly!
It’s like it’s always swollen, maybe something more to it… I have considered the Doc checking my Gall bladder, as it tends to swell when I eat anything! Making the lower right ribs sore. You can see my pics in my profile.
As far as what I was eating, it was clean!
I am only trying to cut another 2-3% BF. I just feel like it’s a personal conquest to get my abs popping. Something that’s never happened for me.
I have about 6 weeks before I start ANY cycle, and believe me I will be trying to burn fat and build mass as well.
My training is 5X5 training program. I will look into the anabolic diet and see what it’s all about.
I know right… I am admittedly smaller than you, but it is nerve racking to see a guy whose arms are 2’ shorter than mine benching 420 in the gym, when I am lucky to get 275 up. It’s funny he just looks like bulky shoulders with gloves on them.
I had my reach measured it is 78.5" which means my arms are mega- super long!
I think 10lbs per arm wouldn’t make much difference. I have a flexed 15.5" bicep. And to me they look like toothpics.
I will try and put on the most that I can naturally, but have been trying for 1.5 yrs now.
Again, I will read up on the anabolic diet.

Hey, you have to learn to be comfortable with who you are and what you can do. Trust me I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have benched 315 on a few occasions, but only if I spend several weeks preparing for it specifically. I have started powerlifting, and that is particularly humbling, but I have squatted 505 raw in a meet (benched 275, pulled 500). Here’s the reality, if you want to be some super strong guy at our height, you gotta weigh a minimum of 300 lbs. Matt Rhodes (find him on Elite FTS) is a 6’4" guy and he goes around 309 (started @ 220). If you want to put 1/2" on your arms, you’re going to have to put 2" on your legs. Somewhere on this site there’s a formula for lbs. vs. inches on arms, someting like 20 lbs per inch, but it’s even more for us tall guys.
I’m with you on frustration, my main lifting partner is about 5’8" and 205 lbs., and he outlifts me on just about everything. But I use that to compete with him. On the other hand, another guy I used to train with who was a D1 lineman is 6’7", 300 and deadlifts over 700lbs…naturally. But he’s a freak of nature. Surround yourself with people that are stronger than you and make no excuses. That way when the day comes, and it will, you will garner a small victory in the weight room and you SHALL talk much shit and never let them forget about it!
Awesome! When that small Victory comes I will talk a little shizzz. Ha!
I’m afraid that at 300+pounds peopel would think I am a freak. But alast, I hear you. You make a good point. And yes, there are some articles on here regarding the taller guys. Even training programs drawn out for the longer armed and legged.
I also think that my BF% is incorrect, I used the star wars thing at the gym, and it has told me 11% 14% and 15%. I feel more like 18-20% and I think my pics will atest to that. I am posting new ones right now that are showing some progress in cutting.
No problem man. Do what you can and keep getting stronger, it’ll come. You’d also be suprised about weight perception. Nobody in my office, or nurses at the Dr. office can believe I’m walking around at 265. Probably because many of them are that same weight but they are shorter than me and fat!!
we have pretty similar builds (or at least we did a few years ago when I was your weight, I am the same height but a little heavier since cycling)…I am currently at about 230-235lbs off cycle and have been up to 245lbs on cycle. You also have roughly the same BF% I do and it is around 18% from the tests I have done.
I can tell you that extra poundage makes a pretty big difference on a tall guy but still doesn’t make you look huge like it would on a guy that’s 5’8". If you put on 20lbs with a cycle it would still look pretty natural and would go a long way towards making you look more defined.
In terms of dieting down I haven’t really done that so successfully so you would need to ask someone else but I know a lot of people that have had good results on the anabolic diet. You could maybe run a velocity diet prior to your cycle to try to get rid of the abdominal fat so that when you are on cycle your muscle really shows.
Furious, please take a look at the newer pics in my profile labeled cutting cycle. These are from doing the velocity diet for just two weeks, not super significant but a defniite improvement and step in the right direction. Would you say those are still in the 18%BF Range??
