Surge vs. Metabolic Drive Complete

Hey guys, I just read the article All Hardgainers are not created equal and it got me thinking what exactly is the difference between Surge and Metabolic Drive Complete? In relation to post-workout nutrition, what is it that makes Surge better than Metabolic Drive Complete?

Is it that Surge has whey so it floods the body quickly with amino-acids and helps protein-synthesis to occur faster? Anyway, I really appreciate any feedback.

Metabolic Drive Complete contains complex carbs and a full spectrum of fast and slow digesting proteins designed to be a nutritious meal replacement. Gradual increase in insulin/blood glucose/aminos and sustained for longer.

Surge contains hydrolyzed whey, essentially predigested whey, along with maltodextrin and dextrose to rapidly spike insulin, rapidly halting catabolism and shutting said nutrients to your muscles following workouts.

But come on, dude - these answers coulda been found by just reading about the products themselves.

Metabolic Drive Complete

Someone needs to do a ton of reading…

Here is the quick version:

Surge - Drink during/after workout only

Metabolic Drive - Drink as a meal replacement, or just when needing extra calories.
