I just finished my first tub of LC Grow and I am going to order more. I am a college student and therefore don’t have a very big budget for supplements. That said, I am either going to order 2 tubs of LC Grow or 1 tub of LC Grow and 1 of Surge. I have never tried Surge before so I am kind of torn here as to what to do. I am currently cutting if that makes a difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Skip the Surge and purchase the LC Grow!. It will serve you better to have a good protein supplement, and you can always tweak your Grow with your own Maltodextrin/Dextrose. It’s certainly not as good as Surge, but it’s more cost effective.
I know what it’s like to make the most out of every dollar. It’s very expensive to eat the necessary amount of food that you need to get an adequate amount of protein, so I would opt for the LC Grow!.
I would suggest going for the Surge and maximze your PWO nutrition. You can then make up for the other cotainer of Grow with quality real food choices. Even cheap ones like tuna, eggs, etc…
That is just my suggestion. I feel you would get the most nbang for your limited buck this way. A bonus is the Surge taste Great as well, like a little treat after some hard training.

If you’ve never tried Surge, then give it a shot. It’s pretty inexpensive with the direct sales thing. After one tub you’ll know whether or not this is worth it for you.

That’s pretty funny: after lurking for a long time, I created this account basically to ask that question. I graduated last month, so now I’ve got student loan payments to make in addition to the usual school stuff… I know the hurt.
My tweaks on the question are, if you’re using it post-workout, wouldn’t you at least want to go with Regular Grow to get some carbs in you ASAP? Looking at “Servings per Container,” it looks like 10 for Surge * 3.5 workouts/week (on average) = about 2.5 weeks! That’s about $40 per month.
For Regular Grow, even at 18 Servings/Container, using it post-workout only almost doubles what you get out of it (Just over a month, for $23/month). Use the 2-scoop serving and you’ve almost tripled (at the expense of serving-size, of course, you’re at about 7 weeks, or about $12/month).
The LC Grow, at 32 servings/container, over triples your mileage (Just over 8 weeks/bottle) for just about the same as Regular Grow.
Now, I know that’s not how they’re designed to be used, but that’s how my brain works. So I’m considering a tub of the LC as my main, daily replacement and a tub of Regular as my Post-Workout. I think that’s the best compromise I can make. Thoughts?
