I wouldn’t classify this as a conspiracy theory. The John Bash investigation was strictly limited to unmasking, which did happen, there’s no dispute about that. The investigation was to determine whether it was done properly or for political reasons. Since unmasking is common practice Bash determined that Obama/Biden and the others involved basically did nothing wrong. But I will note two things. One, that doesn’t mean the unmasking wasn’t politically motivated. And two, the Russia “hoax” is being investigated by John Durham, and is still in progress, so everyone saying that Obama and Biden are in the clear because Bash wrapped up his investigation may be speaking out of turn.
I believe there’s an unwritten rule in the DOJ not to release findings of an investigation on a political candidate 60 days prior to an election. Something along those lines.
Hmm, I wonder if they follow that rule consistently ![]()
It is possible to be correct though bad logic and evidence.
You are right. It is a possibility.
It didn’t.
Barr already said in his appearance before the House that he wouldn’t release anything prior to the election.
I am saying they didn’t follow those rules in 2016.
It is speculation, but many think it is an exonerating document that hurts Trump. Barr doesn’t seem to be the most non partisan AG by my estimation. I think if it helps Republicans, that he would release it.
It may be, I hope we see soon.
Are any of them? Remember Obama’s “wingman” Eric Holder?
Who are you referring to? The Clinton email thing?
Most likely true. However, that doesn’t really refute the fact that Barr has made partisan decisions, and shouldn’t be trusted to do the “right” thing. To me the most likely reason that the report isn’t going to be released before the election is that it hurts Trump. I won’t try to convince you of this as it delves into motives (which unless admitted, are just speculation).
Yes, the Comey announcement coming from the FBI which is under the DOJ.
You mean the business empire Donald Trump’s daddy started? You know that right? Donald is not a self made made man. Fred Trump was worth over a billion dollars. Fred also marched with the KKK and was arrested for failing to disperse during a protest. Oh the irony.
Yes I do. That doesn’t change my point.
And Biden’s ancestors owned slaves right up until the civil war.
And Biden gave a eulogy at Robert Byrd’s funeral, a member of the KKK.
And Biden worked closely with segregationists throughout his Senate career.
And Biden’s crime bill that he wrote and sponsored put more black men in prison for minor crimes.
And Democrats started the KKK.
And the civil rights act of 1964 was voted through by Republicans.
And a Republican president led the war to abolish slavery.
And the sky is not actually blue, it just appears that way.
What’s your point?
This is why I love all the people going ape shit over 'da Trump, even though I can’t watch or listen to Trump himself, myself.
When Manafort was appointed by Trump in 2016, I was flabbergasted how such a shady guy was appearing on all the “news” channels and being lobbed softball questions by the MSM instead of getting grilled. It was because the MSM all wanted Trump to win and then LOSE to Hillary.
Karma, payback’s a bitch, etc. etc.
Good post.
Should be pinned somewhere for all the holier than thou hypocrites out there to see.
Yep, you’re sarcasm is deserved. But that’s the point, through all my posts on this topic I’ve been trying to be objective and have a conversation. But if someone wants to jump in with ridiculous statements that don’t add to the discussion, then a ridiculous response is warranted, don’t you think? Case in point, your response to me.
I think there’s so much shit on both sides, anyone who seems firmly in one “camp” or another is wearing blinders.
@ntrojnky To be clear, I was not being sarcastic to you, I think your post clearly pointed out the baggage weighing on both “sides”.
Also to be clear, both candidates imo are shite, so I am in the camp of those with a poor memory, and voting based on the fact that I am surprisingly better off overall than I was in 2016. Even though I didn’t build any of it. (and yes, that’s a shot at the Baby Jesus himself, may lightning strike me down)
I’ve run the gamut of being a Democrat, then a Republican, then a holier than thou Trump Republican, to now being a Trump supporter who doesn’t think he’s the second coming of Christ but has done great things for this country.
This is what I wish people would be talking about as we lead up to this electron.
The point is that you said Donald Trump built the business. He didn’t. His dad did.
So no, you didn’t know that, otherwise you wouldn’t have wrote it right?
This is what I wish people would be talking about as we lead up to this electron.
They might be if the President wasn’t himself. Almost like if you behave like an unhinged maniac for four years people don’t just ask themselves if they are better off. They also ask themselves if this experiment has been a massive failure.
I’m pretty much the same as I was 4 years ago. Most things that would effect me would have been at state and local levels. Wasn’t rich enough to get a massive tax cut.
Except then we had a rational adult in office and now we have an absolute loon. Just watch that town hall he can’t even talk to someone like an adult let alone be anything close to acting like a President.
Although if he loses it will be a lot more boring for a bit.
I wanted neither.
This is what I wish people would be talking about as we lead up to this electron.
Believe it or not, not everyone has been doing better under Trump.
