Supps for Bulking & Maintaining?

I haven’t really paid attention to Biotest supplements since the days of MAG-10. So I was hoping to get some up-to-date opinions on the current supplements you guys would recommend for a bulking and then maintenance phase. Here’s my two macro-cycles:

February: Bulking phase on a modified DeFranco program with mid-range reps.

March: Strength phase again on a modified DeFranco program but with lower reps and goal of preserving muscle from bulking phase.

And just FYI:
April: Speed endurance and sport-specific phase on a slightly hypocaloric diet.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

In order of importance

  1. Food

  2. Hard Work

  3. Sleep

  4. Protein powder of some kind: whey, Metabolic Drive, or something similar. Buy what you can afford.

  5. BCAAs (Good for maintaining positive nitrogen balance)

  6. Creatine

  7. Anything else

Nothing will help you if you don’t have the top 3.

Oh, and assuming you don’t have any qualms about doing them, some kind of test is probably up there as well. I just didn’t include it because I’ve never done them.

So you’re going to bulk for a month, then maintain for a month, then cut for a month? Sounds like a gear cycle.

No, I’m not doing any gear and as such, this now seems like a stupid idea. What could I possibly accomplish with a 4 week hypertrophy cycle? I wasn’t being realistic, thanks for the face slap.

Moving forward, I think I’ll redesign this meso-cycle as follows:
February: Max Strength
March: Power & Speed
April: Speed endurance and Sport-specific
Also, sport-specific technique work will be included during the first two months with limited volume.

Anyone have thoughts? I always appreciate advice.
