Supplements for an Ectomorph

With a 350 bench and 400 squat, something tells me you did something right. Clearly you had to bulk bigtime to be 6’1 210 as your profile indicates. That is not a typical ectomorph stat. I would think that you would know about massive eating. A typical undertrained ecto would weight 170~ at that height.

I guess I am not understanding why shitting is such a bad thing. Is there something I do not understand? I have been eating more since I starting bulking, and I am shitting more! I am not surprised.[/quote]

Thanks all of you who are giving feedback, I really appreciate it alot.

In regard to being ecto and having good strength, Ive always been pretty strong with bench. When I was a kid (19-20) I benched 415 with no arch and no steroids. The freak thing is that I only weighed about 180 or so. I gained body weight by stuffing my face 4-5 times a day when I served in the United States Air Force. Had I not eaten this way I would have only weighed about 155 or 160 at 6’ 1’'…no joke. When I got out of basic training I looked like a bean pole as we didnt workout with weights, only ran and did cardio and only ate three times a day…not to mention the stress.

Yes I am 6’ 1’’ 210 lbs now but keep in mind that I am no longer 19-20 years old. I am now an old fart of 42 going on 43 in August (although I still act like a kid big time…most people think I’m around 32 or so…no grey hair or hair loss ect)

Anyway…I would like to weigh about 225 to 235 but dont want to look like a lard ass…lol!!

What do you guys think of Alpha Male and other T-building supplements? I hear that high T helps build muscle as well. Back in my day I would do heavy squats and then IMMEDIATELY jump up and down as high as I could until failure (and puking) this would stimulate the pituitary gland and increase PNP and testosterone at the same time. This caused my benchpress to go through the roof. Also the rest of my body would respond with growth as well. Because I was such a stinking ecto I would run the risk of overtraining very easily. Therefore I had to keep my workouts short and very intense. I would go no longer than an hour in the gym and get out of there. If I did anymore it would be diarrhea city and lethargy.

Thoughts?
