Supplements for a HS Rower

I don’t know if any of you guys row, but during winter training here in the north we have erging workouts in conjunction with lifting, alternating every day. I was wondering what the best course of action would be to have alot of energy while working out as well as the best protein supplement for afterwards.

Lifting Workout:
3 sets of 5 minutes of squats (70lbs)
3 sets of 3 minutes of Bench Pulls(70 lbs)

Circuit (6 times)

5 pull ups
10 sit ups
10 push ups
10 jumps (essentially a squat with no weight and with a jump while pushing off the ground)

A friend of mine recommended Cytomax for during the workout but I was wondering if there were any alternatives. Thanks for your time.

I also forgot to say that I would like to lose some fat while gaining muscle. Im currently 6’3 and 187 lbs. Thanks.
