I didn’t notice a difference. I don’t think the two are related like that. Are you expecting that when one sweats and drink 3L a day that they will sweat more water to dilute the “stink”?
I understand body odor happens when you sweat and it interacts with the bacteria on your skin?

You are correct, unless the person is on some kind of medication.
Another thing would be if your body starts burning protein as fuel. Your clothes smell like ammonia.
For the most part the stink is the result of bacteria living on the skin. It would be reasonable to assume that different diets would result in a more or less favorable environment for the bacteria. But I can’t see how the added water would make a difference.
