Superfood + Berry Liquid Flavoring in Tea =...

awesome. It dances in my mouth. I’ve mixed other combos and this is by far the best.

At first I really just wanted to create this thread to share that little concoction I came up with. But then I realized I might as well use this as a chance to thank all the members of Team Biotest. Thanks for making these and all the other great products Biotest, and for your commitment to quality in everything that you do. I’ve used the majority of your products and they’ve helped tremendously during my cut. Thank you.

I mix:

Whey Protein (50-80 g)
Superfood (2 servings)
Surge Workout Fuel (1 serving)
Power Drive (1-1.5 servings)
Liquid Flavor of Choice
Ice/Water in Big Blender Bottle

It is my daily preWO drink and usually all I eat in the morning or early afternoon.

The flavor works well with the mixture, although I tried just the whey with the liquid flavor and it is pretty lackluster. It seems like the liquid flavoring needs something sugary to make it taste optimal, or at least to me.

Dang that’s a lot of flavors going on. I’ll have to try it sometime. Yeah I think the flavoring was (probably) specifically designed to both mask and balance the flavor of Anaconda protocol (and SWF), which is bitter and acidic on its own, but it also seems to compliment tea pretty well, and the Superfood has a nice tea flavor to it as well, so it just works well. Happy mixing

I like it all on it’s own.

BTW- I don’t recommend putting it on your tongue directly like leucine, it will choke you to death, lol

so am i the only one that hates the taste of Superfood then?

It’s not my favorite supplement in the world taste wise (hence why I had to come up with a special recipe), but I wouldn’t call it bad at all. For me at least it beats the alternatives (fresh fruit/veggies, or a diet with none at all) for a few main reasons:

  1. because I am low carbing it.
  2. Even if not low carbing it, the ease of dosing - the “delivery mechanism” of a scoop of powder, is so much easier than fresh fruit and veggies, and or capsules. I actually sought out sources (in capsule form) for many of the ingredients that it has in it. In the end, it was about the same price per serving (relatively - although I did save a little, thus why I tried it), but the cost savings was not worth it because the delivery mechanism (pill form - 2+ caps of 10 or so different things) was way more of a hassle than just a scoop of SF.
  3. Also the cost is almost certainly cheaper than the fresh fruits and veggies it contains.

…4) oh yeah and the quality is great and it’s a brand I trust, which ensures me I am taking what it says I’m taking and nothing more nothing less.

Superfood + orange juice is pretty good. I don’t really like the taste on its own, that’s why I mix it in with the shake. It is like the liquid flavor where by itself in water it is bland, but mix with the right thing (usually sugar) and it takes on good taste qualities.

Maybe Superfood would be ok with Equal or Splenda?

i had luck mixing it with white tea and a packet of splenda. i did have it with just water a few times though. it’s much better than a lot of supps on its own.

Superfood has been one of my staples ever since it first came out!
Love it.

Really? I’ve been doing that for a while. I just dump it onto my tongue and then take a big swig of water. Then I shake it up a little in my mouth and it comes out pretty good. I actually really enjoy the taste of Superfood.
