I need to buy a good pair of sunglasses. My husqvarna sunglasses aren’t cutting it. What is a good brand or product line? Price isn’t an issue (nothing more than 100-150 though).
P.S. I don’t wanna look like her. No granny - cataract glasses.

Arnette makes some pretty cool glasses (kinda expensive tho)
get some gucci shades baby
I got a pair of prada’s last year before the spring carnival(horse racing) they do the job pretty well, arent over the top cost a bit much though $350, not sure what prada sells for in the US though
My husband has always sworn by oakleys. He got hit in the eye by a rock once (he and his brother are idiots), it shattered the lens and protected his eye.
He wrote Oakley to say “Thanks for me not being blind” and they sent him a brand new pair, which he wore for around 8 years.
Got a pair of Rayban predators. Very nice sunglasses.

I second the Arnettes. They’re actually on the cheap end of what name brand sunglasses cost. I also like Ray Bans.
But really, it’s a matter of what you like and what fits your head and looks good on you.
My dad had some sun glasses a while back (honestly can’t remember the brand) that had a yellow tinge to them for high visibility, but you could almost stare at the sun without any issues.
That’s basically what I’m looking for.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I was just thinking of new sunglasses the other day. Are there any that have more than 100% UV protection? That probably sounds like a stupid question, but after working outside for a weekend wearing glasses that are supposedly 100% UV, my eyes still burned at night.

Word. Can’t go wrong with Rayban. Try to find a place to try them on before you buy though.
I have light sensitive eyes but have never had any problems with Oakleys. It sucks I have to wear sunglasses outside even when it is overcast but I don’t even get super night vision =(
Cat Nip, I have no idea, but I doubt you can go past 100% uv protection. Maybe they weren’t “true” UV protection or not UVa AND UVb.
I need a pair of glasses that have a wider side part than just a wire b/c when I usually drive to work / school, the sun is always hitting me on my left side and having regular glasses does me no good.
goggles look cool

I should get these… All the girls would love me…
Go with some Von Zippers, SPY, or Electric. All solid companies, some of the designs are out there. But you can either find that crazy design you really want or get a pair of black polarized glasses for the 125 and below range.
Wrap a towel around your face, 100% protection from the sun and it will make driving more exciting as well.

What you need to get are some polarized sunglasses. I wouldn’t drop money on a long-term pair that weren’t. They cut the glare and are amazing if you spend a lot of time on the lake. I was a lifeguard for two summers, and my Oakleys served me well.
Electric makes awesome glasses. Their lens/frame color combinations are cool:
