Hi CT,
I have a quick question on your “Success Leaves Clues” article on Dorian Yates style training. Ive moved over to HIT training recently and it has been a refreshing change of training and I am loving it at the moment. Question is…
- Im following a 5 day split
Sunday: Chest / Calves / Abs
Monday: Quads / Hams
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Triceps / Biceps
Thursday: Shoulders / Traps / Abs
Friday: Back
Saturday: Off
Referring to your article and Dr. Brad Shoenfeld conclusion that optimal hypertrophy occurs when hitting a muscle 2 or 3 times a week vs once,
- As an option in terms of for the triceps and biceps, would doing 1 triceps exercise at the end of Chest day and doing 1 exercise at the end of Back day just to finish them off respectively be a good strategy for optimal arm hypertrophy?
Or would it be best to keep the plan normal and hit the triceps and biceps once directly and once indirectly per week for optimal arm hypertrophy?
Thanks for the help,
Henri
