Allllll the way in, she said
I basically just push the plunger without really steadying the barrel of the syringe so it pushes the whole thing in a little further when my fat/muscle compresses some

I saw a thing on compounding pharmacies and empower was listed as having quite a bit of variance in there products. Even if +/- 10 percent, if you got plus 10, then minus 10 it would be a big change.
There’s less discomfort with IM than subq in my opinion. And I use a 25 or 26g, 1” needle for glutes.
I push it all the way in and then some.
I personally saw my levels go up after dropping dosage and moving to IM. I was around 1300, dropped dosage from 30mg daily sub q to 25mg daily IM and labs had me over 1400. Also went up on thyroid dosage though in same time frame and have heard that could affect it, so not sure which one actually caused it.
I would think going up on thyroid would lower TT. Not completely sure (just what I have heard).
I just did my first IM injection today. Wasn’t bad at all! Actually less painful than SQ. Both are minimal, but I didn’t have to push to go through the skin. Just wound back and tossed it in.
If this doesn’t bring my levels past 700 from 200mg, I’m tossing this bottle. Both this one and my previous bottle have the same compounding date.
How many times were you pinning per week. I would expect ~1400 ng/dL with that dose (and that is based off of my SubQ blood work).
Daily, about .15mL (30mg) per day. It’s mind boggling.
Hoping to have this past Monday’s bloodwork back in a day or two and we’ll see if anything has changed. It doesn’t feel like it has.
That does not add up to me. Maybe if once a week or less, but 700 ng/dL on daily shots at 200 mg per week is hard to believe. Possible, but hard to believe. I put my money on a bad batch, or an error in the test.
Try IM and see what happens. That is strange though
What was your Free T on the last daily dosage?

I stand corrected…it was on 182mg/week. From my log:
Results: 733.9/21.2/20.1
That’s TT/FT/E2
Was taking a lot of Cialis then, guessing that’s why E2 was a little low.
Testosterone doesn’t look too far out of whack to me.
I got a Total of around 750 and FreeT of 25 (or maybe it was 28?)on around 185mg ED. Sorry those numbers are abstract because I’m going from memory, but that’s pretty close. I have a very low SHBG though. I’m assuming that you’re probably in that same category.
And yes, that E2 is WAY low. For a proper ratio at those numbers it should be somewhere around the 40 mark.
My SHBG has gone down more actually, 19 on my last test.
I agree entirely on the E2. Been waiting for that to go back up as well.
Feeling progressively more run down 2 days into IM injections, but I can’t believe it’d be related unless I’m doing something entirely wrong.
This is going to sound ridiculous, but after trying IM during the last few days, I consistently feel worse on those days. Hear me out.
I can’t believe it’s just the method of injection causing this, it doesn’t make sense at all. But the coincidence is shockingly there. I don’t believe it’s nocebo either, because I definitely expected IM to be awesome if anything. Or at least that I’d be let down and it’d just be the same for me as SQ.
I’m sticking to SQ for now, but I’d be willing to repeat the experiment again in a few weeks to rule out anything else causing it.
The variance between people is so interesting. For me I feel good on SQ, but noticeably better on IM. More energy, better libido. I guess it’s a trial and error thing.
I have noticed my deltoids being sore since starting IM LOL. I actually don’t feel much different between the two. Everyone is different.
I would encourage you to repeat your experiment once more. It is really hard to tease out differences in how you feel, and assign the cause of those feelings.
I definitely will. Gonna give it a week or so and try IM again. I can’t believe it’d make that sort of difference, unless something in my delts is reacting poorly to the oil. Who knows. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.
I felt worse going to IM initially but in time started feeling better and then best.
