Stupid Democrats

Goldberg: Don’t be fooled into thinking that the republicans give a shit about smaller government - they don’t. It’s all window dressing designed to give off the appearence that they somehow want to reduce government to it’s original functions. They are just as bad as the democrats. I wish all the people who want the government to return to it’s specific role - as outlined by the Constituion - to stop voting for these (republicans) charlatans. Vote third party and stop encouraging these traitors!

zeppelin…I would vote third party if they had a snowballs chance in Hell of winning. And yes…I know my vote counts…but lets be realistic. We have to vote for the lesser of two evils. The Democrats want us MORE dependent on government than the Republicans do although both seem to like big government. And I also can’t take the Democrat blatant lies about mediscare…social security and all the other garbage they try to whip up to try to lower the Republicans and boost their own empty agenda. I want the government OUT of my life as much as possible. The democrats are sneaky about trying to get their agenda for socialism in in small increments that are almost unnoticable but to the most diligently curious of us all. Add that to the talk of a “regime change” that they say should happen here and their unwillingness to “let it go” with respect to the 2000 election; accusations of a cover up about what GW supposedly knew about 911…and Senators Byrds ridiculous remarks that are a regular occurance on the floor of the senate…When you add all of this up…the Democrats are clearly a JOKE!!! Only someone who embraces a socialistis agenda or is ignorant of the facts could possibly vote for them. Except for women who believe that murdering an unborn child (abortion on demand) is cool…they always seem to favor democrats…they help protect their irresponsible sexual behavior. (Women…don’t flame quite yet…I know it takes two to be responsible!)

Montrosefan-You are exactly the type of person i am talking about. You werent given alot but made it. There are no victims. Im proud of you for that. Good job and that is what America and being an American is all about. Even if you are a bodybuilder. haha.

Now GWB is guy that never had anything handed to him, grew up in some pretty tough circumstances,
really pulled himself up by his own bootstraps.

As are so many of our politicians in DC. Lets give 'em a big round of applause for doing their best to help those who need it most: themselves

Thanks Goldberg. If I proved anything at all its that we can ALL make something of ourselves…or we can sing the pity party woooh is me game all of our lives.
Just look at what the democrats have promised the black community and NEVER followed through with! They promise them something for nothing in exchange for their votes. I am all for equal opprotunity …not reverse quotas (affirmative action). For decades now the white elite democrats have promised the Negro community all these things and they have never given them anything at all except more dependency on the government! They should be ashamed of themselves! for exploiting them like that! The public school systems in Negro neighborhoods suck and crime is at an all time high! In places like Detroit and Houston where Maxine Waters and John Conyers run things…its a crying shame! Ive listened to a black man named Ken Hamblin…The Black Avenger…on radio and he makes these points better than I.
But it is all another reason I despise the democrat party!!

Kuri…trying to discredit the Republican idealolgy of self …not government… dependency, by pointing out that the President didn’t have a rough life is a very weak position to argue from. Nice try …but try something else…

Guys, the US is a capitalist representative republic, with strong socialist and fascist segments. (and before any of you go off, look up fascist) We have a mixed economy. Socialism in its pure form can work, to an extent, but who wants to live under it? I will never forget attending NEPCON in 89 – after the show, we (a bunch of sales reps) went out for dinner. One of the guys was from Denmark. He hated it, because “the ones who don’t work are like a lead weight we have to pull around.” Also, even though he made good bucks (around 75K in US dollars) he said the gov’t took almost all of it, and he lived only slightly better than people who did nothing. No thanks. Fucked up as it is, I’ll take my chances here. You can still make a lot of money if you work hard. As for crime, poverty, social ills, blah blah blah – just don’t participate. Its like the old Sam Kinnison routine about the people starving in Africa. Sam said he would tell them: " Move! Its a fucking desert! Nothing will grow here!" While that may not really be an option in Africe, it certainly is here. I don’t see any poor people, have any diseases, get abortions, run into homeless people, experience crime, smog, or any of that crap. If you do, get out a map. Its a big country. As for taxes, that is also under your control, at least on the state and local levels. I wonder about some of the others who post on this forum. If you are not American, what the fuck do you know about it, anyway? Shut your damn piehole. If you are American, take it from someone who has been abroad a lot – most of the rest of the planet is a shithole. With the exception of Belgium, England, Scotland, and Canada there is not a single place I would visit again.

Eviscerator and Icarius…great posts!

Did you watch the mornings news today? Those lazy ass people are protesting again about how they should get the tax credit. Jesus…can we clean and press them across the city?

Montrosefan,
I wasn’t trying to discredit Republicans but was aiming at politicians in general.

Just as many Democrats are silver spooners.

I don’t think either party wants a smaller role for federal gvmt, nor particularly does whats best for the public- but rather acts in opposition to the other party to define itself, including these tax issues.

Huck, sure alot of the world is a shithole, including many many places inside the US.

As an American living abroad there are MANY places I would like to visit, possibly live. So what?

Wow. People are actually debating whether some people should get a refund on something they DIDN’T EVEN PAY.

Gee, I wish I could do that, just go around getting ‘refunds’ for products I didn’t buy and whatnot. Beats workin’!

If the government wants to just give people (er, fat lazy bastards who won’t work for a living) money, they should do so, and not disguise it as a tax “refund”, which just doesn’t make sense.

(And yes, I’m Canadian. I don’t want to hear it)

It was a long time before I made over $20,000/year. Was I not suppossed to pay taxes? Am I missing something?

Unbelievable!! The Republicans caved into the dumbo-cunts and gave them some concessions to stop their incessant whining. Another welfare bill is created.

Kuri, I think your mistaken on not many democrates are silver spoon. I think across aboard they seem to be even.

And to Montrosefan I think this one of your better post. I congrates you are living the american dream even though you think BB is sport.

By the way my mother and father met in school w/ $40 dollars in their pockets together. Okay, they got a college scholarship but they earned that. So my mother got her masters and my dad got his PhD. He still stuggled. We even lived in the projects of Buffalo, NY for a short period of time. But, eventually and now we are upper middle class citizen they raise 3 great males and is living the american dream.

And while my dad was in college he also wash dishes, drove a taxi cab and did other odds and ends so he could pay for housing and transportation.

In the end hard work pays of and people that ask for hand outs gets goes nowhere.

Fitone…I applaud your parents for their perseverance and for installing that work ethic in you. Thats what we need more of in this country…

take care…

Montrosefan…
