Stuff to Do in Cape Cod

Hey guys, heading to Cape Cod this weekend. Not much of a beach guy and it’s too cold anyway, but I’m looking for attractions and things to see/do in that area.

Any of you Massholes around to help out?

Thanks!

Which part?

Mainland, Island, near the bridge or on the tip?

I’ll say, it might not be as hoping this time a year, but P-Town is a must see attraction if your around. I mean, it isn’t NYC, but worth the drive on the right night.

Our resident Masshole has shown up.

Not much going on this time of year. P town is a pretty crazy place to see once. What kind of food do you like? a lot of seasonal places are closed but still a few good places open year round.

Hey man - I’m staying in Chatham. So I don’t know where the hell that is in comparison with what you asked hahaha… but that’s it. And by P-town I assume you mean Province Town? I was told to head there…

Ah I love seafood - hoping for some good lobster while I’m up there. But also any kind of Italian, any American fare… just looking for unique places with some good food. Open to anything.

Captain Parkers, is the only place that I can think of that’s open year round that would have good seafood. the Brazilian grill, Roadhouse Café although a bit pricey. If you like wings you need to go to DJ’s.

I’m kinda surprised - I know it’s early, but man it’s still the first week in April! haha. No other places around worth hitting up?

I will definitely try DJ’s then. I love wings.

Yeah, Providence. It is a trip. You’re on the elbow of the cape then, you’re like an hour or so from PTown.

Best part of going this time of year, you’ll enjoy the locals if you are good to them they are good to you, and avoid most the entitled pricks “summering”.

There definitely is I’m just not to big on seafood, and up until the past 6 months I haven’t lived here in 7 years.

I really hope PTown is jumping if you head down. I just don’t know if it will be in April, but man is it something to see once in your life, lol.

I’d like to go back as a legal drinking age adult to be honest, but it is a lonnnnnnnng drive for me.

Wow, instant nostalgia with this thread. I used to go to Cape Cod every summer with my family growing up in Chester, and Rockaway in New Jersey before I moved to California. Cape Cod beach with the sunken old ship is always fun, I never got the chance but I always wanted to try and swim all the way to the sunken ship parts… The Atlantic ocean sucks though with all the jelly fish and horse shoe crabs I get too stung up and grossed out to make it more then 20 feet anywhere in that water though! haha

My brother did a decent amount of gambling somewhere around there I believe, also Wildwood boardwalk is not too far from Cape Cod which can always be entertaining… There is not a whole lot of places to go but its a really cool sea town there are really great fishing spots too.

O also check out the Keltic kitchen in Yarmouth for breakfast the place is pretty awesome.
