Hell, I told my mother the same thing. My family proved me wrong. I don’t eat that shit, though. Never have, never will. Now…onto more stuff. If you’re in TX, baggy jeans starched and pressed til they stand on their own.
damn the south still pressing their jeans?
Please don’t say you crease them down the middle?

This was based on my 2.5 year stint there several years ago. It was tragic. I hope they don’t still do it.

That falls under the Fried Chicken and Watermelon category, in that Everybody likes Cornbread.
If in Baltimore- lake trout. Don’t ask me what kind of fish “lake trout” is because I have no idea.

I must have some type of super-whiteness or something because I don’t like cornbread. The taste is ok, but I can’t stand the texture.
Something we have forgotten…extenstions and weaves.

They do. People from St. Louis who now live in Texas are even worse for it.
I have friends who do this shit and it looks ridiculous…which just gives me more ammo.

OH MY GOD!! When I was working at the clubs in Killen, TX, all I did was clown! Dudes would show up with their jeans so starched, they would shine. On top of that, you could hear them coming from a mile away! Damn, that brings back memories. Remember this one? Wearing house-shoes (slippers) to the club with a matching outfit!

The full FUBU powder blue sweatsuit with matching Jordans and Kangol beats that one though.
I have a frat brother right now whose jeans look like faded blue mirrors…only more stiff. I took them off the hanger once and couldn’t get them to unfold. One pair was done so many times he is now unable to wear them because he can’t get his feet into them.

I could have told you that before you started it. I doubt any minorities are surprised at how this thread went at all. That is why no one is really offended.
I am a little surprised that this is a shock to you, however.

As one of the said minorities, I’m not at all surprised with the direction this thread took. I even expected poor little HH to pull out the “I’m so persecuted” act and the “they are just angry at whitey” routine that he is famous for doing. Never mind that he posts some of the most idiotic, inflammatory and juvenile crap on these boards, then throws a little hissy fit when people call him on it. I’m just surprised that it took him as long as it did. Well, what do you expect from someone who actively encouraging high school students to join the military to fight in Iraq so he can live vicariously through them?
Being told how to behave by white people.
Not graduating from high school
Having as many babies as possible by as many women as possible
Blaming ‘whitey’ for not having an education
Calling white people who point this shit out as racist
Engaging in delusional scapegoatting

This reminds me of a friend I had in high school who wore a different pick in his hair everyday for the entire school year.

I HATE melons, especially watermelons. Sad how melons are one of the most nutritionally-dense food we can eat. Oh well. I do like fried chicken and cornbread. TOGETHER.
