Something to think about training early early AM, Cressey and Robertson have said that is a bad time to do squats or deads or anything that loads the spine due to settling of the goop in there or some shit (I’m no doctor lol). After reading about your battling back injuries, that type of training might not be the best idea in the am… Stay strong and take care

Believe me I wouldnt do it if I had a choice. I have 3 teenagers at the house so afternoons right now are out of the question for lifting. If I want to lift at all I have to do it in the morning. Another reason why I warm up now more than ever and foam roll. Hopefully in a few years after the kids move on I can change back to the afternoon. Also I am almost a Doctor so I do know a little bit about the back. What days do you go to warehouse gym?

I train there on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday for sure. I also train on Mondays and Fridays but sometimes go to 24hr with my wife and son. If they don’t workout, then I go to the real gym.

Front yard we have a long drive way. It is at least 25 yards long. I push in the grass, cause in my neighborhood it is very quiet at 5 in the morning.

I used to train deads at 5:15 a.m. because I had not other choice. It is doable, but a sauna, jump rope, box jumps and mobility work, etc. are necessary to get the goop flowing before you start pulling.

Lots of good work going in in here, and that’s a cool looking sled!

Thanks, I just take it day to day and keep my eye on my goals. The sled is very cool, we have a love hate relationship right now.
