Pretty much, I just work more of a bodybuilding type workout. Not stressing the joints. It always works out where I will have to from time to time take a week off due to work. Like later this month I will be out of town covering another site, and will not be able to workout at all. Which is a true deload. I will say that I have never been able to go as long as I have without an injury. Going on 14 months now, so something is working.

Friday

Front Squat

135 X 3 X 5
185 X 2 X 5
205 X 1 X 5

225 X 1 X 5
245 X 1 X 5
265 X 1 X 5+ = 5

Lunges

135 BB X 5 X 5

Monday

Military press

95 X 2 X 5
115 X 2 X 5
135 X 2 X 5

Working set

175 X 1 X 3
195 X 1 X 1+= 1

135 X 5 X 10 with Fat Gripz

Had to end early, Hali has gone into labor and I need to take care of things at work and head to Corpus.

Back in town and here is my Grandson Raedyn.

Congrats Grandpa!

If your family history holds, you may end up being the strongest Great-Grandpa in history.

Yes, congratulations. Will your daughter and grandson live with you?

Congrats Big Poppa! Certainly can see the resemblance between you two. Looks like he might have more hair than you though.

Congratulations on the new squiggle mupp. Haven’t been a grandpa yet, but a girl we knew as a kid and her 4 month old son stay with us sometimes. Its nice having a baby around with a mom to hand him off too when things get messy.

You are braver than me, doing 5/3/1 with front squats. I think more than 5 of those at a time is certain painful death.

I could not talk her into moving. Up until a year and a half ago I got my kids 3 days a week every week. She decided not to come over any more because I got in an argument with her older brother and he refused to come to my house. Long sad story. Needless to say my daughter has no supervision with her mom and was smoking and drinking at 16 years of age and unsupervised most nights. Well she was 6 months pregnant when it was discovered and stopped everything. Daughter is trying to get her life on track but doesnt want to leave her mom. So needless to say why the new grandchild is not at fault and I will love him like I do all children. I am still working through the emotional issues of this situation. Sorry to go on and on.

Yes he does. Sadly he looks like his daddy. But all newborns look like old jewish men to me.

No spending hours with my X-Wife in a hospital room is a painful death, working out is great.

No worries. I think knowing a bit about each person’s personal life makes following the training journey that much more interesting.

I agree and this log is more than just training log, it really is more of a teenage girl diary for me :).

Question in case anybody reads this, my week has been screwed up and the next two weeks I am on business traveling. I plan on doing my DL and Squat tomorrow morning since working out will be sporadic next two weeks. I know some people have do that every week,

Any Pointers?
