That’s some good looking FS! Ever done overhead squats? They will fix any balance issues you might have, plus they are excellent WU for old(er) idiots like us.
Cant I have tried, to many shoulder issues. About the 2nd rep my hands go numb, military doesnt do it, but when I have to rotate the shoulders so far back to get a good balance. I think Next year prob in Feb going to try Zerchers.

Great training DJHT. Like the new avatar. Your arms are almost as big as mine…almost.
Hahahahahahaha, while I sometimes get the vanity bug, my overall goal is strength and health. The only reason I honestly work my arms is for the wife, she loves when my arms get big.
Dont know if anyone had seen this in my HUB, however this is my wife doing DL. She is 4’11" and 115 lbs DL’ing 205, which I think is pretty sweet since she has no powerlifting history or instruction.

That’s awesome! 205 at 115 with no training? Egads. I need to hang it up.
Seriously, though, maybe she needs to take up the sport. She’s an itty bitty thang, eh?

I really thought that for a bit, but she loves the Crossfit. We moved last year to a new town so she has made friends in Crossfit. They go to lunch and movies etc, but maybe in a few more years I can talk her into it. At her stature and body frame she could do some damage.
Okay going to give the legs a break this week, let the hip rest. Turkey day and football next week. So probably going to do a upper body and lower body day. Everyone have a great weekend.
Snap told the wife last night about what you had said about her deadlift, I think with some work I can get her interested. She is competitive. One of the guys at her Crossfit, says he is a MOD on here and he is constantly taking things off T-Nation to put on FB for their Crossfit site. If I can get his help then maybe.
I am five inches taller than your wife but roughly the same weight. She could probably be an amazing lifter with her physique. I’d like to say that being tall (for my weight and this sport) and lean work against me in this sport, but with O’s log here, I just gotta suck it up and realize that my argument holds no water.
Is your wife master’s? It’s easy to be competitive at the master’s level at a low weight class because the field is so small. If she gave the sport a try, she’d probably be addicted.

After two weeks of deloading plus the holiday refeed I bet you are going to have a monster first week of the new rotation.
I hope, going to flip the 3 and 5 week, like was stated in the last Wendler article. Also throw a couple singles in 3 week. But yea, Still keeping the BW @ 215, that may go up a bit with Thanksgiving.

Nice lifting. Off subject questions . So are the Dallas fans liken the new head coach?
I go on and on about football (my passion besides weight lifting) in this thread.
I think most of us are patiently hoping and praying. I love the structure and organization he has brought back to the team, they are playing like professionals. Is he the long term solution? Dont know have to see how the rest of the year plays out I guess. At least he looks like a HC on the side lines.
I am in the beginning of starting 5/3/1. My first deload week is coming up soon. I know Im going to be tempted to do much more than what is prescribes, howd you deal with it?
