No sir, that is just silly kool aid crap in my opinion. It would be funny if they didnt take it serious.

Okay how often do you do them? I tend to do stuff for a couple of months and then rotate back to normal stuff.

Pete thanks, you know the balance of fat loss and keeping the strength is hard. I want to eat big and lift big, but my body chemistry is not made for this.

First time in a long time without medicine my cholesterols are “normal”, just looks like to live longer I have to keep this balance of cardio and lifting. [/quote]

Front sqauts will be in rotation till I cannot get anymore out of them . Might be 6 months or more.

On conditioning I just sprint alot and push the sled. All done after weight lifting sessions. sometimes during—that sucks though.

No man the gym we are going to makes there own shirts if you want to buy, it is owned and run by an orthopedic surgeon (funny I know). He is a couple years older than me and is really more about the training (he has long history in martial arts) and not about the silly crossfit stuff. He doesnt even care about the competition, if people want to do it thats there prerogative he is more just about getting people healthy.

Yes, it is a very fine line to walk. I might even give in and just do a straight ‘cut’ at some point to reset myself. I am still PR obsessed at this point, but have struck a bit of a balance… aside from this last weekend when I ate everything I shouldn’t, lol.

I did the same last weekend, but I have this upper respiratory bug going on. When I am sick I over eat to help my body fight off the infection. Dont like taking medicine unless absolutely necessary.

First time ever without medication that my good cholesterol HDL was over 40, and bad cholesterol LDL below 150. Plus my Trigs were at 90 and glucose below 100. Fish oil and circuit training have now become a staple for the rest of my life.

Well, I did it because we had a big birthday part for my 5 year old, and inlaws in town, so lots of food around that normally isn’t. Brats, burgers, potato chips, potato salad, fries, birthday cake, etc etc. Sunday night had to start throwing shit out…

I always keep some cardio in just to maintain healthish bloodwork. And x2 on the fish oil.

I am guilty of not doing the cardio if I am on my own. I loved doing the 5/3/1 4 days a week, but made excuses for pushing the prowler etc.

Now that my cardio is better will not be so hard to do and keep that in. I look forward to the new year and starting back on the heavy stuff, still have about 15 more pounds from around my belly that I need to drop.
