For time 17:55 I think or somewhere around there.

Got a like upper respiratory thing going on so skipped running today.

I got tired just reading that. Your conditioning must be ‘All-World-ly’ these days.

That lifting looked particularly vomit inducing.

ddot I wish, getting better, but have a ways to go just yet.
Joe- still keeping my strength that is what I most concerned about.
Thank you

Holy balls man.

Hahahahahahahahahaha I will say the box squats are feeling very good. I think I could have done 405 today without difficulty, and this is without any gear, meaning belt etc.
I actually kick off the shoes and go socks and shorts/tshirt.

Shirtless no fucking way, sorry man I just do not have that kind of body. You ever watch King of the Hill? When Hank takes his shirt off with the farmers tan, yea that is me. Basketball shorts and ankle highs, and yes Chalk every where :).

I can’t read this log anymore.

It wears me out.

Osmotic cardio

all that work in less than 18minutes is pretty awesome.

That is NOT including the Box Squats Matty, no way I would hurry with that much weight on my back.

I know bro…Its still alot of work in 18!

Hey very glad to hear you are alright and were not effected by Irene.

Good work here. I cannot sqaut with just socks on my feet move under me when applying pressure. Are you rocking back on the bottom and pausing or just touch’n’go ?

Rocking back, one of the trainers there at our gym used to do PL comps and strongman (well he did one strongman). Had him checking my form. Until two weeks ago never did box squats, I just didnt have a box at the house.

It is a 16inch box, so just right at parallel or slightly high. They have a 12 inch but that is really below parallel, next will use the 12 inch and put a 45 pound oly plate on the box. I think that will be perfect. I never did front squat on box either. Is that even more beneficial for sitting back?

nice looking session. i love me some box squats

Front sqauts on the box are for really strengthening the lower back under load and to keep up my shoulders on deadlifts. It also really fries the abs alot.

Okay how often do you do them? I tend to do stuff for a couple of months and then rotate back to normal stuff.

Pete thanks, you know the balance of fat loss and keeping the strength is hard. I want to eat big and lift big, but my body chemistry is not made for this.

First time in a long time without medicine my cholesterols are “normal”, just looks like to live longer I have to keep this balance of cardio and lifting.
