I am so sad today, my heart hurts, my family has been struck and we are all grieving. A child should never pass before the parents please pray for my family.

Sorry got busy at work, has been a hard day.
My cousin is 21 years old, he grew up with my kids they are all basically the same age. Last night he was out with friends, may have been drinking/drugs, dont know. They all went and jumped of a low bridge to go swimming, he dove came up and said he was hurt. He then sank beneath the water and drowned, the divers found his body about 9 am this morning. This child has had a hard early life, he was adopted by my uncle, a man I named my child after.
When my uncle adopted him at 6 weeks old Ryan had already had 11 broke ribs, cigarette burns and lacerated penis all sustained by his biological mother. My aunt and uncle fought for many years to adopt him and by the grace of God the mother got 18 months for child abuse. If she would have gotten any less my aunt and uncle would not be able to adopt him.
He was going through a lot of young man issues that a lot of kids go through now, lost and without direction. My uncle and aunt are in shock and his brother will never be the same. My kids are all in shock and my daughter has been crying all morning. Listening to my mom cry on the phone has brought me to tears this morning myself.
I am writing all this cause I need to get this down and I dont know if I can do it later on.
Thank you all for your kindness, this has hit me hard, mostly due to my personal problems with my own 20 year old son. He is going through a lot of the same if not worse things that my cousin was going through. I hope this wakes him up before we have two tragedies in the family.

You know its one of those things when you are working or on here it distracts me, but as soon as I talk to my family I break down again. Especially my mom or sister.
