Strong Words Applied to Bodybuilding

Prof X does not provide an end to all means of how to train eat and so on. He lets people know the reality of what it is. Take what works for you and weed out all the bullshit. Like I now do my best to train with like minded people. I always have had an inner motivation. Yet being with people of equal hunger is the best environment to be in!

Again thanks Prof X. Even though I already know wtf I need to do.

THATS GOOD 1 PRINTING IT OUT 4 THE WALL
YESSSSSSSSSS

More posting about bodybuilding and less posting about posting about bodybuilding.

Note- not directing that towards prof, but to all of those out there who have taken it upon themselves to whine about “the state of things” and bemoan the forums for not living up to their faux hardcore expectations–and lol for expecting anything pure out of an anonymous internet forum set up solely to generate traffic so supplements are sold and personal trainers and strength authors’/coaches’ careers can be launched and nurtured. Follow the cash, ladies.

I would also point out that the T-Cell was created for a reason (hint- so the cool crowd can have a sandbox), and that the bodybuilding forum is 1 of MANY forums on the site–so the “this is a bodybuilding site” thing doesn’t hold (retain?) much water anymore.

Finally, see point 1 above.

Your not an Idealist are you?
You have a great point though, however I liked the original post too and I don’t think it was a whine.

Prof X, I enjoy reading your posts and they bring a balance to some of the stuff on this site, so I’m not just asking you this to be a smart ass.
What I want to know is, wat do you get out of this site?.
You obviously have a pretty tight schedual, so wat keeps you comming back to this site and investing your time into your posts?

Harsh. But this does bear some truth.
Professor X wrote:
You’re alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act.?Barbara Hall

The same applies to bodybuilding. Your progress is not judged by how many articles you can quote. It is not judged by how complicated you can make a training routine or the fact that you have a log that lists exactly how many seconds that last set took.

The biggest and strongest have something in common. They know that action is more important than the thought of action. They know that their progress is based on their own effort. Lastly, they believe from the beginning that they can reach their goal and don’t even accept anyone telling them what their limits are before they begin.

In all honesty, those who have it in them probably don’t need this post. They would be the ones who knew what they wanted so they watched those who had it. They had the guts to make it to the gym and begin instead of sitting at home on a computer for two years reading articles as if experience can be made up for with more action-less reading.

Life is short. You do not have the time to sit around and wait for something to be handed to you. You either make a choice and act on it or you remain stagnant.

I am tired of stagnant people making their presence known as if they deserve respect simply for being.

They don’t.
A little mid day motivation for those of us heading to the gym after work!

“The fact that you’re alive is a statistical anomoly, don’t be an ass and waste it.” - Me

Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weight

and moreso now

everything thinks theyre a bodybuilder, but they never lifted no heavy ass weight
