And it seems younger kids, especially college kids, join movements for the sake of joining movements, for the sake of rebelling and believing the world is out to get them. Hmmmmm, for me it is the opposite. In my teens & twentys I was a young Republican, & very active in the church. These days, while I may have been in better “shape” back then, I’m much stronger, yet Obama is not liberal enough for me (I wanted Hilary). I’m in my 40’s, employed, own my own home (paid off!)2 young children. . . could not imagine voting Republican.
Must be skinny.
HaHaHa! No I WAS skinny, & voted Republican now I’m much heavier, stronger, liberal. . .

As to Obama being more liberal then Hilary I think they may be somewhat even in actual practice. I do think Mrs. Clinton would have ram rodded single payer Canadian/European style healthcare through congress, & I’m for that instead of the bloated mess of attempted compromise we ended up with, to be clear I’m not at all satisfied with Obamacare. Hilary knows how to play the Game.
And what’s this grand reason for being a radical (I suppose that is what you’re referring to rather than saying you’re classical liberal, which is closer to conservatism than most Republicans).
Unless the term “radical” is more elastic then I think it is, I don’t consider myself a radical. My only point was that in my personal experience the premise of this thread & some the comments: stronger people vote more conservative, or you get more conservative as you get older. . .don’t really pan out.

The older I get the more I seem to wander to the left.

All I’m saying, no grand reasons Haha, did make me chuckle though. Thanks
You’re an outlier trying to trying to use just that to establish a point that a trend doesn’t exist.

I said “in my personal experience”, may well be an outlier. Thats cool with me, I live at the northern end of Michigans lower P & work out in my garage, the premise of the thread may be entirely true excepting just me. . . well thats a little disturbing. . .

Problem is when you say
you use the word “people” which of course is a plural term. You are stating, even if it is incorrectly worded, that in your personal experience stronger people voting more conservative doesn’t pan out, the crystal clear implication being those “people” you have known personally. You didn’t identify it was you and you alone you were speaking of.

However, this type of miscommunication should not come as a surprise to us, seeing how you apparently have orgasms when you fantasize of Hillary ramrodding European style healthcare through the Congress (I can’t think of a more pathetic thing to masturbate to FWIW).
I took the thread itself to mean all people, & thought to offer up my own experiences so demonstrate it may not be a universal rule. Looking at The thread title now it just says “more likely” so one dudes opinion doesn’t really matter.

Anyway didn’t really chime in to argue, & we’ve already descended to personal insults. Outstanding.

Excuse him, Push doesn’t know how to play nicely with others

You are not alone, I too grew out of voting Republican. FWIW I have many conservative friends and none of them lift. Pretty much the only people that I know IRL that are fitness conscious are Dems. Could be my proximity to Ann Arbor though.

This is true sometimes.

I do have a little Ann Coulter-ness in me thus I am inclined to think the average liberal, or progressive if you will, is dumber than a wet box of rocks. I try to remind myself that you attract more flies with sugar than vinegar but alas oftentimes the guy in the black hat persuades me that causticity should prevail in the never ending battle with statist bozos who take great pleasure in eroding the freedoms of individuals.
Rumor has it that your problem is not attracting flies  I think your problem is making sense

I watched when he threw out that first pitch. I laughed hysterically. Of course generally he isn’t a very funny guy, actually far more scary than funny.

Anyway, I bet if there were a community organizing contest he’d be right up there and Bush would be the one looking foolish.

Then again in all fairness baseball is not even a sport in Kenya where Obama grew up. That was after he was born in Hawai and then immediately flew to Kenya to live out his childhood. Or, something like that.

Hey…what’s the difference he was on Jon Stewart so he’s cool.

Well he is wearing a White Sox jersey,

I bet you say that about all black men, including Chris Rock.

No, actually I find Chris Rock funny. But then again Chris Rock has not raised my taxes, threatened to raise them even more, taken over health care and allowed a US Ambassador and three others to be killed when they were screaming for help.

My guess is that in two or three years time the majority will be thinking that Obama is the scary fellow that I am claiming he is today.

And he still won’t be able to throw a pitch so he’s really a good for nothing turd.

(Ha ha “turd” now why did I have to say that?)

Yeah, but there was no tongue was there? HA!

Fucking photo ops being used to determine the masculinity of a president. You could use military service as one measure. If so then Bush Sr. was the last “man” we had in the White House.

President Military Service
Obama None
Bush II Air National Guard - never deployed to Vietnam.
Clinton None
GW Bush Naval Aviator - Distinguished Flying Cross recipient
Reagan Army Reserve - Filmed training movies during WWII - never deployed
Carter Naval officer - Submarine Corps
Ford Naval Officer - Sea based during WWII
Nixon Naval Officer - Born a Quaker and could have been exempted from service
Johnson Naval Officer - Silver Star recipient
Kennedy Naval Officer - Became Naval Officer after being rejected by the Army for lower back injuries.
Purple Heart and Navy and Marine Corps medal recipient.
Eisenhower Spent a couple of years in the Army
Truman Army Artillary Officer - WWI served in France

The photos were a joke. Nobody thinks Obama’s gay because of his pitching mechanics (though that is absolutely terrible form) and nobody thinks Bush went Larry Craig on anybody.

I know that. You know that. But I bet that SM doesn’t know that.

The case for the high-waisted Urkel is not strong.

Any man who runs like this should be questioned.
