Yessir. I threw some Reverse Band Box(Bench) squats last Sunday. Worked up to 405 x 2. There will be deadlifting tomorrow.

I like that back day but I would have damn sure started with Deads first. Otherwise I’d have died.
I can’t do deads first and then have a strong back day. I especially cannot do BO Rows after Deads. Not when I was in my 20’s and certainly not in my mid 30’s.
If strength was goal #1 like you, then obviously deads go first but you’d have to make the rows chest-supported.
PS: That was a low volume day for me.

I think 15. For that day I think I did 10/9/8/8/8/7.
watched the IDFA yesterday and the winner had beautiful stage presence, wonderful grace and sportsmanship. It went beyond the abs, something about the way he posed was dancer-like fluid. Couldn’t take my eyes of him.

Do you recall his name? Posing is definitely an art form. Takes a lot of practice. A friend of mine competed yesterday in Windsor, ON. He finished 2nd in the HW class.
