Strong and Conditioned (ChongLordUno)

My training has been consistent at least.

Been running Paul Carter’s 8-12-8 principle with a few lifts and then doing some pump work.

Low volume.

Usually 3 lifts at most. 4 if I’m feeling particularly audacious.

Trying to figure out where I’m going from here. My spin classes have took a back seat so my cardio game is starting to suffer.

In 2 minds wether to adopt a more health minded approach soon. Toying with a Tactical Barbell approach again.

I’m not going to be putting on any more muscle at my age and I can’t hang, aesthetically with the young team anymore so what do I do?

Yes mate, just plugging along and getting training sessions in when I can.

Baby due in Jun. Hoping it’s a wee chilled out boy.

The temper on my wee girl is legendary🤦‍♂️

Good luck man. My boy was a way harder baby than my girl. Her attitude now is pretty interesting, though; sounds like the same boat as you.

What is it with the hack squat machine?

It doesn’t feel right to me. I always feel like I’m about to snap in 2 every time I use it.

This likely means however, I should start using it more regularly. I’m weak as piss on it
