Cheers @aldebaran ya big hunk
Feel like Iām getting my mojo back
Plan to take it to the point of chaos this week
Eat like a legend
Train like a maniac
Right @ChongLordUno
Be angry at the bar, destroy it! Time to take out all the slack!
Your motivational one-liners play in my head when I lift and it helps.
Run intervals on grass or off road countryside. 30sec efforts up to say 5 mins.
A lot of reasonably serious endurance runners are able to stick with it up to they reach the coffin though. Some train smart with cutting mileage, some get ino cycling/swimming and some have lucky genetics.
My experience is that beat up runners are more likely to have historic injuries frrom earlier ages that just get more chronic, or are a heavier not-natural runner build. Its also pretty boring watching your times just drop over the years.
My 5K went from 18mins to 25 between aged 30s and 60s. But I found other sports.
My message to ChongLord is stick with your mixed training, you will stay all round fit. And you will be able to turn your hand to other sports without looking sad.
Fucking right in there my man. Right up at them.
The iron reflects the warrior who holds it.
Tattoo-worthy quote.
Fuck knows what this was called
Letās call it The @Edgy - fier
A workout so burly it will put ginger hairs on your chest
1 Mile Run
50 KB Swings (24kg)
50 Burpees
1 Mile Run
That first mile looked easy!
Dude itās my HR monitor. Itās about as reliable as a Ford Focus 2013 ecoboost
I read a few reviews about the reliability of the Wahoo monitor and went with one on Amazon from a company called CooSpo instead. It was a bit cheaper and so far has been perfect in the couple of months Iāve had it. Just in case you start looking for a replacement.
Iām honored to be mentioned in this beast of a training thread~
Mind is right and beard is awesome - dangerous combo
Newtonās Law of Lifting: For every gain in beard volume, there is an equal gain in muscle volume and strength numbers ![]()
Have tweaked my back or some shit
Pain going down the left leg ![]()
Anyway not to be deterred as I still got the reps out.
Decided to cut Grey Man short as of this week as have completed 6 week block
Will move onto Specificity next week for 6 week block
feel better quick
Careful man. The difference between a bulge and rupture is slight in the doing, but life-changing in the recovering
This.
Donāt do anything that can make the problem worse. Itās an unnecessary risk. Try to figure out what it is and select some alternative exercises to do until itās healed. Something like lunges instead of squats for example.
Cheers lads
Hopefully nothing that hot water bottle and bath wonāt sort out
