Starting to really get into my kettlebells as of late. Quite a fun way to train.

Thinking of throwing in more KB sessions however worried in case this affects my current programming

Or maybe go full @T3hPwnisher and just train my tits off

The second one. Go for the second one.

Remember: there is no overtraining: just undereating.

Same. I’m loving KBs and am getting so geeky about them I even am becoming a snob on getting really high quality bells. (I have a mix of really top notch ones, and sporting good store bells). I will pick HIC that emphasize bells, but I’m also thinking of throwing in some here and there after strength training. In TB2, he talks about a client that does 100 swings (10x10) after each workout.

I actually rented their movie on VHS when it came out. Searing performance all round

I’ve been playing about with them while I’m watching the kids however have found myself drawn towards mastering the bottoms up press and also performing weird lifts.

They’re so much fun.

I also reckon they’ll help cultivate a ā€˜dad’ style physique for some strange reason

Meat Eater 2 is a HIC drill I used a lot due to its accessibility.

Fobbit Intervals with KB swings is a great HIC as well, especially if you go against the actual protocol and turn the cardio component into a HI drill as well

My dad was a big fan of them, so I got exposed to them at a young age growing up. In turn, they’re cemented in my brain as one of my many heroes and influences. Between them and Hulk Hogan, I’ve got the ultimate 80s playlist of muscle cheese, haha.

But really, these days, you could do far worse than to emulate the Barbarian Brothers. I’ll take 1 set of Barbarian Brothers over a jillion Jason Blahas or Athlean Xs.

To remain more topical, I’m feeling the bite of the KB bug as well. I blame all my Dan John reading.
