I guess that’s why I don’t have big arms, because I’m not doing crazy shit like this for my arms ahahah (also, the tendonitis…)
I’m pretty sure you already have pretty huge arms
You’re right about tendonitis, though. I have to closely monitor both compound and isolation exercises for their effects on my elbows. If I consistently train forearms directly and switch everything about curls every three weeks, I seem to do ok. For a few weeks, I’ll do high-rep straight bar curls, then I’ll switch to medium-reps incline bench curls, then low-rep EZ bar curls, etc.
I developed crazy tennis elbow from doing fixed bar chins. Crippling.
Both arms as well.
Had it for years. Left arm last which was cured by the lockdown ![]()

It’s an illusion, they barely are 16" on a good day. Yeah I usually stick to neutral or pronated curls. My tendonitis is caused by work, but lifting doesn’t help. And I haven’t been able to do regular curls in probably 2 months so that’s annoying.
The only back exercise I can’t do ahah. Probably won’t ever. Lockdown for sure cured mine, but Colossus + work + terrible life hygiene made it come back, but nothing crippling, but I plan on curing it before that.
Did you change program in the end? It seems shorter for sure. Anyway if you have Colossus and Crippling Death, and you had the new videos he’s putting on YT, I’m sure you can do your own Mountaindog workout. What I like also, is the flexibility. You want to do a phase 2 exercise and the bench is taken? Well you can do Machine press, or Incline Press etc
What’s an Egyptian lateral? And where are you getting 3.4kg dumbbells?
@aldebaran I’m just doing my own thing right now however firing in rest pause and drop sets. No overthinking. Just PPLPP over 7 days.
@dagill2 they’re basically cable lateral raises with a fancy name mate. The weight plates are weird in the gym I use. It’s all .7 or .3 ![]()
I’m stealing that trick. Gonna make my log seem nice and exotic.
I think I got it from a Jeff Nippard video
However I’m definitely up for being a bit more windswept and flamboyant with the exercise names
Casablanca curls
Glaswegian kickbacks etc
I think I was given a Glaswegian kickback once. Never did get her name.
That’s pretty baller progress for what appears to be ~3 weeks. Well done, sir
Cheers matey
Ditched OMAD and started focusing on calorie control once more
Trying to get 5 protein hits a day, 20-50g and lowering the carbs mostly
