Strong and Conditioned (ChongLordUno)

Just keep it at a nice steady pace. 50-60rpm

You’ll be pleased with how your cardio base will improve with this intensity. It’s a god send for me.

How the hell did I crank this out in 54 minutes.

Insane volume. Upper body is fried today

DOMS in my biceps for heavens sake.

I could go harder if I had more time in the gym however I have to be out in an hour so I just blast it

That’s what we like to hear.

Great success!

To me, consistency is being optimal. Loved yesterday’s Iron Culture podcast where Eric Helms said that an advanced lifter is not the one that lifts X weight bla bla bla but has changed his lifestyle accordingly to his goals over the years, do the annoying stuff day in, day out, has the good reflexes etc

Creeping Death is the contest prep one right? Suited for leaning up! I still don’t know how you manage OMAD ahahah you eat it after training?

Yes mate, still OMADing.

Have also switched up overall nutrition. Not really something I’ve went into on here for some reason.

I just read a book called Why We Eat Too Much. Nothing groundbreaking in the book bar a few nuggets however it resonated with me.

I’m now trying to steer clear of refined carbs bar the odd protein bar. Usually coming under 100g carbs a day and concentrating on fats.

Have developed a fascination with organ meat recently.

Have acquired liver and lamb heart mostly. I have it in my head that if you eat heart then you’ll experience ultimate life gains. Surely that makes sense :joy:

How did I miss that one?

Good on you! That one took me nearly 70.

My biceps were sore too!

I think I’m going to check out the book you mentioned - thanks!

It’s a good book.

Makes you look at obesity through a different lens so to speak.

Well, different from the one I previously used which was that fat folk are all lazy bastards :man_facepalming:

Well, n of 1: I know I’m a lazy bastard, so it’s easy to extrapolate

This was the exercise equivalent of Valium and a hot bath

This was horrible.

Had to ditch the calfs for time and the RDLs just killed me at the end.

That was a bad one, wasn’t it?! All the pauses/ holds on everything just created misery by the end.

How are you doing your brOMAD in relation to your workouts?

Workouts are fasted mate

Usually eat about 12-1

CICO as well. It’s a lot to get in the hatch so span it out over an hour

God knows how my body is digesting 180g of protein in one sitting

As weird as it is, I’ve convince myself that this is how my ancestors ate on a hunt or some shit. Feasting on a carcass.

This somehow allows me to continue with this nutritional insanity

I bet that one meal is like nectar though. Have you adjusted to the hunger yet?

Do you feel ok? The more I read from some of the smarter nutritional posters, the more I really want to at least give the “intermittent fatting” approach a try. I’m sick of calorie-counting and planning, but I can definitely stick to a list/ time of foods. I just don’t want to feel like absolute shit during the workouts. How’s a good time for an experiment, though, because Covid has me not around customers or employees.

Like nectar from a supermodels tit. Your tastebuds are practically on dbol during a fast.

Hunger is a dawdle mate. I always say if you eat 6 times a day then you’re creating the environment to be hungry 6 times a day

Feel great mate. It’s all in the mind.

It’s not optimal however you’re not going to go into catabolic shock. Especially with weights which in the grand scheme of things is low energy physical activity compared to say hard conditioning.

Go for it mate. I’m 100% certain you will thrive
