Strip Bambeeno of All Notoriety!

If you guys want to see my retort to Lu79’s incorrect assumptions regarding the thread and my “flip, flopping”, go back to page one and view my two responses.

Funny,

Good ol Jakers is well on his cycle now, and imagine this…

he’s got shit for progress/weight gain, and is missing workouts etc. etc. etc…

Funny how things work like that aint it?

His big worry lately is the weight gain, so I forsee some piggy chow coming on down the line quickly here…

Way to go, excellent job of showing how to NOT make progress while ON gear!!!

                Great routine Jake.

            You showed us didn't you!!

I wish we could have had a sort of betting parlor lined up before the cycle.

Because I’m pretty sure the odds would be about 500:1 for him doing anything constructive. Too bad you’d be an absolute for taking that though.

I often wonder if he was born a lazy fat slimy scumbag puke piece of shit? Or do you think he had to work on it?

World

Jake, unfortunately, is a modern archetype.

There is an exact replica of him at my current gym, and if I paid more attention I could probably spot a few more of them.

This particular guy is about 5’9", 200lbs, 20-22% bodyfat. Chubby by any standard, but he’s not going to lean out until he gains another 15 lbs of muscle (or so he’s been telling me for the last 6 months now). He insists that he’s not big enough to cut yet.

He’s always doing some sort of “advanced” exercise- today it was incline bench with a resistance band using double contractions. It seemed like he did 12 sets of 5 with 135lbs, and was actually doing jumping jacks in front of the mirror between sets.

He practically lives at the gym, but the only thing that has grown in the last year is his gut. In spite of this, he claims that his bodyfat is around 12%, and that it will be easy for him to “get shredded” once he packs on enough mass.

Despite his lack of progress, this guy actually feels like he’s on the right track and thinks he looks pretty good. He seems particularly satisfied when he loads up the leg press with plates and bangs out a few three inch presses.

He’s actually a fairly nice guy, and not unintelligent, but his training and nutrition absolutely suck from top to bottom. I’ve made a suggestion here and there, always met with the same response “Yeah, sounds cool”, but lo and behold the next day he’s in there doing behind the neck pulldowns with straps on, hands covered in chalk, and the bar smacking him on top of the head with every rep.

What can you do? Some guys just aren’t cut out for this shit!

I’m finding all the outrage quite amusing…and entertaining.

However, I must say, I think the actions (or IN-actions) of one is causing too much ripple in our pond of performance enhancement. Yes, I understand the furor over what seemingly is either outright stupidity or blatant resistance to doing what’s right just “because”…any of you have teenagers? Same behaviors…but oftentimes necessary behaviors that an individual must go through before finally seeing the light.

I don’t think what’s needed is outright ridicule of the Jakester; somehow he’s not getting the message, and it all could be just in the delivery of some of the sound advice.

One thing I note: Mr. Jakester appears to have some hero worship from those who visually look “the part”; i.e. trainers who were former competing bodybuilders or who have coached/trained individuals competing, etc. There is nothing wrong with this in my opinion. What it does mean is that he probably will listen only to those who he himself feels exemplifies his ideal.

Sam,

With all due respect, I find it amusing that you find it amusing, lol. As someone who didn’t participate in the thread, yeah I can see how you could initially say what you said. But, several of us spent a lot of time getting the Jakester to “come around”. It took a lot of time, and two complete threads worth of rhetoric to happen.

Then after finally convincing Mr. Bamboozle to modify his original, terribly planned cycle, we even had World going out of his way to construct a routine and eating scenario, which yeah, took a lot of time out of his days in doing so for Mr. Bambizzler, who after using said routine and modified diet, actually lost a good deal of fat and was ready to start the cycle properly.

Well, that’s when he sloughed off World like he was just “privelaged” to have been “chosen” to help him. Honestly, it was doled out to him in this disrespectful manner. Well, I think that this thread here with a bit of clowning on him is more than justifiable for these reasons.

Again if you read the entire thread before this last one, we really had been delivering the message in a VERY positive and friendly manner. Only after a complete brushoff and subsequent crappy gain producing cycle was begun did I decide enough is enough and thus brought about the Jakester Noteriety Strippage thread into its own.

I do appreciate some of your points, but really disagree that we jumped on him too soon or have no reason to toss a few eggs at him.

                 Respectfully,

                  ToneBone

Understood my friend…and yes I did finally read the entire thread. No question folks were attempting to do a good deed and presented their good ideas in a positive manner.

I suppose I’m still a little more lenient towards his petulant remarks because…gasp…believe it or not…I too once was just like Jakester! But that was a loooooong time ago.

You know, being OFF anything anabolic and being “natural” for so long now…maybe I’m becoming a real softie (pun intended!) ha ha!

I tried to help him. I really did. And I’m glad I did. He actually realized, probably for the first time, that something can be accomplished with that sub par physique. And I’m pleased with that fact.

However, I didn’t appreciate the disrespect he gave me. That was FUBAR. And something else I don’t appreciate is other people trying to roast him (tawney) when they never tried to help him or aid him in any way. However, I think I have a right to be pissed. I spent a lot of time and effort trying to help him, but apparently he lacked the proper motivation within himself. I did the same thing for jazz, but apparently that routine didn’t last either.

I guess what bothers me is the fact I must not have properly motivated him in his training and diet. Hence, why he is where he is now. However, there are others, such as randizzo who stuck with it for a good while and made great gains.

Sure, jake’s a real dumbass, but I just wonder if more people gave him the proper motivation would he change or not?

After all, I’m just a dumb jarhead and not on some professional fucker’s clueless diet team. I actually help people make progress for free, I bet if I charged him twice as much he’s be making better gains. hahaha

It was good to see you post at any rate buddy!

Where have you been man? Are you still going forward at some point here with what you had been discussing previously?

Great to hear from you and hope you pop up more often Sam. I am glad to see Jake getting poor results, albeit only for one reason. So he can realize that we HAVE been advising him in the right direction. I'm done trashing him at this point. I did think his stars needed to be dropped though, thus the thread.

Let's hope he sees the light once more before the damn cycle is too far gone, and tries to get back in the right program in training and nutrition.

Unfortunately I bet that does have a lot to do with it. Your advice was free,....and in todays society people tend to think, if it costs, it's gotta be "better".

Again, maybe we'll get lucky and see him open his eyes once more before it's too late.

That would be nice, albeit improbable.

I’m not as benevolent as a lot of you fuckers are. I have grown very tired of posters like bambeeno. They are not exclusive to the steroid forum, either.

I understand trying to help out newbs - and I should be giving back to the community for all the help and patience that extended to me when I was new to the darkside.

But it seems that a lot of these new kids are here to coax a source out of me (FYI - not going to happen because I don’t know of any) or to post up with the sole purpose of being showered with “great looking cycle, you going to get swole, bro” posts.

Yeah - I’m in a shit mood. I have 4 days until April 15th, and I am feeling the crunch. I’ve done almost 300 tax returns, and I am sitting here watching my damn bodyfat multiply like fucking rabbits.

Some folks on this board hate you Rainjack…but not me. Wow, I haven’t been called “fucker” in a long time! Feels kinda…good actually. ha ha

4 days will go by in a flash dude. Actually, in my opinion, once you’re free of the tax burden for the year, your training will become that much better! Best of luck to ya…you fucker. ha ha!

If you are referring to the 1000 mg/week experiment, that protocol is on hold for a little while. Reasons are partly because I’m waiting for a resolution to Bushy’s recent trial and tribulations, and because…gasp…I am actually enjoying being completely natural for an extended period of time.

Like many “old time posters” on this site, the discussions had been getting a little repetitive and I was a little tired of “mining” for the good info. Make no mistake, the good stuff is still out there (well, good stuff to me at least)…but I’m taking longer breaks from this site to explore other sites. Eventually I return, because T-Nation, I have found, is really the best place for me to frequent.
