I only do one low rep day, one high rep day and one moderate rep day and on these days I push it. One the one or two other days I’m just burning in the groove. The more I think about it I probably average 3-4 days a week. Today was 20 rep day (sitting) and I did four sets of 20 with the last being rest pause. I recover the fastest on this day. Strangely my 20 rep sitting weight is the same as my 10 rep standing.
While my strength is coming back fast I need to be realistic so instead of trying to do ten reps with my BW this year my goal is ten reps with Kalle’s BW
did 135x20 since i had that comp last weekend. I am doing a crossfit total comp this weekend to raise $ for a friends daughter who was in a severe accident so i will be hitting a 1rm
I can get 135 for 15 reps with the swiss bar (weight adjusted as the swiss bar is only around 35lbs) which I think is easier than the straight bar. Good job Kalle.
I gotta post a video too and if I can bring myself to take a few days off before hand I will.
sweatpit.com has an OHP contest going on and there are some beasts participating.
My shoulders needed a break from the heavy weight but I want to keep the frequency up so I experimented and did the swiss bar with 44lbs of chains. The chains barely reached the ground at the bottom and really made for a stability workout for my shoulders. I really liked doing these and am adding them to my training.

those sound brutal…
tried 235 log strict for fun after I did 205x8 clean each rep
Tried my new fat gripz extreme today on incline press and OHP and I loved them. Seriously, I had no transition issues from the regular fat gripz and I had my normal planned progression with the weight. I’m taking the opportunity to reset my OHP max since I got the grips and new shoes and work from a strict rack start position to a complete (as complete as an deformed elbow with allow, extension.

Nice, i really need to get some fat grips…
I did this the other day. My overhead is feeling phenomenal
That’s some impressive pressing
I’m definitely up for trying this, it’ll have to wait until the autumn as I’m not yet ready. I weigh 88 kilos, will cut down to 85 when my conditioning improves.
Have pressed behind the neck with 70k for 15 in the past, would be a great achievement on the eve of my 40th to do my bodyweight for 10.
