So I scheduled my surgery date for my gyno and stopped the cycle a bit early but exactly 4 weeks before surgery. I was taking test-e so the question is do I still run my nolva? If I did I would be taking it two weeks before surgery and after surgery if I did a typical 4 weeks. Will it complicate the surgery?
I read that taking an anti-e before the surgery can shrink the size of the gyno for the time being and so they may not take out enough, which can lead to that little bit of gyno reoccurring once you come off the nolva, thoughts please?
Personally I would feel more comfortable scheduling the surgery for a period when I was in homeostasis when all of my hormones were sitting at their ‘natural’ levels. My concern is that if the surgeon is sculpting your breasts and leaving some of the tissue in there, you don’t want it to change its shape afterwards in either direction (bigger or smaller).
I wouldn’t feel comfortable having the surgery when my hormones are in an acute state of flux.

You should stop all anabolics at least two weeks before surgery and since the half life of the Test-E is so long I decided to give it 4 weeks to be safe … I may just run a two week pct of 40/20 of nolva before the surgery which will give me a week off of the nolva

First off the enanthate half life is about 5 days. Secondly, you don’t need to stop test before surgery. You could run a maintaince dose of about 100mg/week up to surgery and even after. The body will not react differently to exo test wrt clotting or healing. If you dont want to stay on a dose off 100mg/week up till surgery start the nolva after surgery IMO.

Appreciate your feedback, I am only going off what the surgeon said and the drugs he recommended I cease prior to surgery. I also ran out of test so it actually worked out decently. Though I do like the premise of your recommendation I wanted to stay away from all drugs after this surgery … I want as little complication as possible and want everything to heal quickly and properly
I had gyno surgery (smart lipo, no scars, no incisions around the nipples) whilst on sust eod.
Yes it was probably foolish, I lied to the surgeon, but it went fine, breast tissue is breast tissue, the surgeon knows what needs to be taken out regardless.
I was back training a week or so later, plenty of natural vitamin e and c helped, good luck.
P.s I dont want to frighten you but it was one of the most humiliating and unpleasant experiences of my life.
P.P.s I was born with Gyno and having it removed was one of the best things I ever did, I’d advise anyone with gyno to bite the bullet, get their credit card or savings out and change themselves for the better, all that time you spend obsessing and worrying you never get back

Thank you for your response, how did you do it without incisions around the nipple? Unfortunately no doctors in my area offered smart lipo so I will be getting regular lipo and excision of the gland (which will require a small incision around half of the nipple) I just wanted to be safe that’s why I stopped the test, it probably would be fine I just didn’t want to risk it. I would love to be training after a week and hopefully I will be able to. I doubt the surgery can be more humiliating than the gyno itself haha … anyway if you don’t mind how much did it cost? mine is terribly expensive, though the doctor is world renowned so I feel confident in his abilities.

It sounds like you have made up your mind about your guy which is fine - it is very important to feel comfortable with your surgeon.
However, JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION, you could drive 1 hour across the border and get the surgery without the (tell-tale?) scar around the nipple for $5500. Again, I just wanted to mention it for your information and the consultation is free. I only know this because I am also considering the surgery.
Die
EDIT BTW that’s $5500CAD of course which will save you a few hundred bucks in the conversion.

Mine is $6,000 so it’s already kicking my ass, a couple hundred prob won’t save me haha how do they do it without the scar though? Is that the procedure where they lipo the gland out after they have broken it up? I read that they sometimes run the risk of not getting enough of the gland out. So people can get gyno again, though I know it’s possible it get it back regardless of the surgery, but there may be a higher chance if they don’t get enough out.

yes

That is also a concern of mine. That’s why I will go for a consultation with each doctor (the one that uses the conventional method and the one that uses the unconventional method) to see what they have to say and look at some pictures.
I totally feel the same way as you - I would like them to get it all the f out. However, I just can’t get past that scar under the nipple…it seems so obvious. And I’m sure it would be noticeable on me because I don’t heal very well and I have very light skin. For me, a noticeable scar would be as bad (or maybe worse) than the gyno itself but then again I’m a bit OCD!

I definitely understand where you are coming from but the scars are so small and are generally unnoticeable after 6 months, plus if you use some other things that they recommend (lotions, etc) it’s supposed to heal even quicker, I haven’t really thought much about the scar itself because I just can’t wait to get rid of the gyno at any cost hah. I’ve looked at plenty of pictures and not noticed the scar, a couple of people on the site have had the surgery, can any of you comment on whether or not the scar is noticeable?
