Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for steroids to aid recovery from rotator cuff tear. Deca gives me Deca dick. Any suggestions to control that? Thanks I’m advance
Nandrolone (deca) will not aid in shoulder recovery to any significant degree. There are healing peptides you could look into.
Thank you, I will look into it
I agree with @blshaw. Look into the peptides. Stuff like BPC-157 and TB500 would be at the top of my research list based off of anecdotal reports.
I’ve had full thickness tears in my left shoulder requiring surgery and partial thickness tears in my right not requiring surgery.
I don’t know your specific injury and everyone is obviously very different in how they respond.
I’m going to assume you have a partial thickness tear that has been diagnosed via MRI, otherwise you are wasting your time trying to heal a full thickness tear. Only surgery can “fix” that.
Here’s what has worked best for me with dealing with significant shoulder issues 20+ years. But there is no magic bullet. My shoulders feel pretty good now, but they are still incredibly fragile and it doesn’t take much stupidity by me to irritate them.

Do not do any motion that irritates the injury. This is obvious but dummies like me forget that. Let the inflammation calm down. Rest and let your body heal. No ice or NSAIDS as these negatively impact good inflammation.

Focus on strengthening the shoulder. Do band pull aparts and other scapula focused movements like it is your job. Everyday. Forever.

Nandrolone at 100-150mg/week appeared to make my shoulders feel better along with every other aching joint in my body. I’ve never had any noticeable side effects from nandrolone until I go over 200 mg/week for several weeks.

BPC-157 maybe helped with healing but it’s hard to know. There’s enough bro science that it works, so I take the “In Bros We Trust” approach and continue to use it as needed for nagging soft tissue injuries. It’s fairly cheap and I don’t have a problem jamming needles into my body.
Yes, a partial tear. Thank you for your guidance everyone
