Well trained, but focus has shifted away from hypertrophy in the last few years, no experience with AAS. Have all the kids I want. No known health issues besides…
Have a major shoulder surgery coming up (labrum, capsule, bicep tendon, cartilage allograft) and want to heal as quickly and completely as possible. From what I can tell in numerous studies, nandrolone has shown to be very effective healing ligaments and cartilage. I would like to minimize/not do test as it has been shown to adversely affect tendon/cartilage and their healing. Only doing this to heal my shoulder quickly and be as fit as possible when I’m cleared for full activity.
What does the collective think of running 100-150 mg nandrolone/week for 10 weeks. At that low of a dose, would pct even be needed? Would low dose test be “needed” to support estrogen? Like 50-100mg/week?
You’d probably want to use the nandrolone for longer…at least 16 weeks, but really for your purpose of assisting post-op healing for 20 weeks or more. I’d bump it up to 200-300mg a week. Either way, I’d advise running 100mg or so of test a week alongside the nandrolone, because nandrolone will shutdown your endogenous production…so to maintain levels as much as keeping healthy levels of estrogen. Estrogen is also cartilage, joint, etc protective.
You will want to run a pct, starting about 3 weeks after your last dosing so you don’t feel crummy for the next 3+ months. Anavar and MK677 could also be helpful.
Nandrolone does not fix or help fix injury or help with repair. In fact like all AAS it causes inflammation. It may also mask your injury and cause more issues for you.
You would be much better served with bpc157 and tb500 peptides. They actually do help heal.
It’s quite common especially among men to take some stuff during recovery after surgeries. Compounds like: npp, oxandrolone, test (for estrogen and well-behaviour), HGH, and peptides like mentioned before tb500 bpc157. Don’t forget to increase your protein intake and sleep well
I’ve got everything on hand, and only a week away from surgery. I’m now realizing that filling syringes and injecting will be really difficult with only 1 useable arm. Anyone else ever had this issue and have ideas or tips?
Filling with 1 arm would seem to be the harder part compared to injecting, right? Can I prefill a couple weeks worth of syringes, recap them and save them in the fridge?
When I was either 43 or 44 I ruptured my right biceps in June a week and a half before the Masters Nationals. I had surgery to reattach my biceps. I took no AAS at all. I had healed enough to enter a contest that same November, where I was on an AAS cycle for 8 weeks before the contest.
That’s what I would do. I would store them upright with a bit of air so that the liquid isn’t in contact with the rubber stopper.
If you will have use of your fingers you shouldn’t have a problem filling syringes with the mentioned peptides.
Yes, it would be perfectly fine to prepare a few weeks worth of syringes in advance of your surgery. It’s a good idea to do this, so it’ll be one less thing to worry about during your recovery. I sometimes do this if I’m going on a trip, so I don’t have to bring everything with me. I’ve never refrigerated test or deca either. That’s not necessary. I’m not sure if refrigerating would cause issues with the oil or not. I’d recommend just putting the prefilled syringes in a drawer or cabinet. BPC157 and TB500, on the other hand, should definitely be refrigerated.
Good luck with surgery and the recovery!
