I used Deca when I was just 17. I did not run test along with it and did not control the progesterone or estrogen. I did not do a PCT. I went from 125lbs to 155 in 10 weeks. I had tried lifting before and eating big but never saw great results. I went and got my T levels checked and it is below the minimum cutoff level for quest diagnostics. I am 29 years old and in the last 3 months have started lifting again. I weigh 142 with 17% BF and am 5’7. Has anyone had lifelong issues from using Deca or another steroid at a young age? I do not want to even bother going to a low T clinic. I have access to pharma grade gear and am considering jumping on 500mg/wk of Testosterone Enanthate. I know this is going to potentially cause me to want to stay on test for a long time since the effects will dramatically change my life. I am fatigued and depressed. I never ran into gyno issues when I did deca but am considering running an AI along with the test to control the estrogen. I know test is the answer but I am not married and I would like to have children. I would much rather feel like Superman in the gym and have my sense of well-being and vitality back than worry about the consequences of using. What are your guys thoughts on doing it for 10 weeks with an AI and doing proper PCT with nolva/clomid/hcg and testing my levels after a few months off to see if my natural levels increased?
TLDR: Took Deca with no test or PCT when I was 17. Messed up my hormones. Very low testosterone at 29 years old. Anyone use gear and have lifelong T issues? About to run 500 mg/wk of test with an AI and proper PCT. will test again after a few months of PCT and see where I stand.
Hey you stated low test I assume from blood work. Yeah Deca is roulette with your hormones. Some guys just get the shit stick. I think that there is hope with HCG, Nolvadex or clomid therapy to bring up the natural test but it looks like you have been suppressed for a long time. Baring any recent additional stress in your life effecting your hormone levels then it’s been ten possible years in a suppressed state. This would be the worst way to go into a full blown cycle.
Look at diet you could have issues there. This modern food supply is swamped with things that are not healthy.
Assuming you have done your homework and everything else is in check. Look at the HCG, Nolvadex, clomid route first. Then I would look at possible TRT before ANY cycle. A cycle will just tank what little test you do have then you are hoping the HCG and Nolvadex will bring you back. Why start from zero when you at least have some already being produced. If that gets nothing then the TRT so you are at least in a healthy window for a while before a possible cycle at a later date.
I think a cycle right now is absolutely the last thing you should do.
A cycle is not a health remedy in any circumstance. The health remedy is higher test weather it be natural (ideal) or synthetic (which is most likely for life).
I recently got off opiates and benzos which I know suppress test production. I was hoping after a few months I would be in the normal range but I am still testing low. I am taking suboxone for opiate replacement therapy and I know it also suppresses but not to the extent of a full agonist opiate. It is not an option to get off of it right now. I eat clean organic food sources. Grass fed beef and free range chicken/eggs. I will try the PCT alone and see where I stand after
I am on Suboxone myself, I had a very wild and exciting life for a good amount of time. I am glad I got my head out of my own ass. Congratulations on you doing the same! How long have you been off that actual opiates?
FYI, juice is just as addictive. Well the feeling of being on a cycle is at least.
I know about opiates being suppressive but didn’t about the benzos.
I remember reading this digest of a study. Basically the data collected showed that over a three month period Nolvadex continued to increase natural testosterone production in men. I don’t know if they were healthy men, low t men, guys that cycle, nothing. I just remember the data showing that for three months Nolvadex continued to increase production, or at least there was a continued increase in production.
My initial thought is HCG therapy followed by Nolvadex. But I am not a doctor. If you can’t find anything specific to you situation online as in years later trying to reverse shutdown then maybe something like a month or so of HCG then 6-8 weeks of Nolvadex? That would be my best guess.
I know that guys on TRT or HRT their doctors will sometimes take them off of the test for a month or two about every year to 18 months. During that time they give them HCG and Nolvadex so maybe that dosage and schedule might be usable for you.
I have been off the opiates for 5 months now. I started the suboxone 4 months ago. I am taking 3mg daily of it so it is not too high of a dose. Yeah I am glad I stopped messing around and got everything together. My 20’s have been a drug fueled mess. I am reading more information about nolvadex and it seems like it has some promise along with hcg to bring me to where I need to be. I will try to find more information on people trying to restart their T after such long suppression. I agree that the feeling can be very addictive from the cycle. I read that steroids have an effect on endogenous opioids as well as the dopamine pathway. I figured it would be a good start to kick off a healthier lifestyle but I know dee down I will be a depressed mess when I come off and will be tempted to do it again. Have you noticed any significant liver issues while taking suboxone along with test or any other AAS?
The only times I have elevated liver enzymes is when I am using an oral compound like winny. Although some injectables are harsher than others I have never has anything elevated except during oral winny usage and I really like tren.
The AAS I noticed waves of euphoria on was trenbolone but only in the gym when I was pushing serious weight. I guess it heightened the endorphins but I’m not sure. Either way I kept putting up a lot of weight and ended up leaving the gym with a buzz. I’d rather chase that any day. I know it’s still my addictive personality compelling me but I get something positive at the end of the day so.
Yeah get balanced and feel normal with the Suboxone while you manage this possible HCG and Nolvadex therapy. Don’t go run a cycle right now. The juice will make you want and do more, and when I say more I mean anything and everything. So get your alignment in order so you can direct that more (time appropriate) at the weights, cardio and clean food, not a relapse. Plus if you run a cycle now you will just be paying to build something you can get for free naturally. (Once you hopefully get your suppressed state un suppressed)
There use to be a common stickie that had the basic steps and what order you do then in to judge then correct suppression after a cycle. It was by a doctor or someone with years of experience and that basic knowledge would be applicable to you. Hopefully someone who knows the threads name can chime in with it for your benefit.
