Steroid Timing

Hey all,
Does nutrient timing really matter in relation to supplements?

also, do you guys suggest with or without food, and if so what kinds of food? Fats, Carbs, Protein…I quite interested in this topic and would greatly appreciate any input.

I remember Bill Roberts explaining once that anabolics are absorbed sort of osmotically, and therefore it wouldn’t matter really what time of day they are taken. However, since we have data on half-lives, I always preferred to take mine as close as was possible before lifting. I mean, if there is a peak blood level, why not try to time it for that peak to be during or just after your lifting (assuming proper post-workout nutrition is consumed also)?
