anyways, I filled it out

Nice man – thanks!

done too.

Hahaha. We stop collected data in mid-May, then it will take another couple months to get things sorted out (just a general estimate). We can post some basic data after that, but for the really good, specific stuff it may even be slightly longer.

I’ll definitely keep everyone posted! Sorry for the wait

It will be interesting to see what percentage of your data comes from female AAS users.

Yeah, we are hoping to get a good number of female AAS users, but it’s been difficult. Anyone know any popular female AAS discussion boards?

I don’t know how popular this is, but most women may be hesitant to discuss AAS use. It’s like lying about your age and haircolor.

Best of luck with your research.

Thanks for those links, Yo Momma! We actually got booted of www.anasci.org a couple times already. It’s been difficult to get our survey posted on sites that we weren’t existing members. It’s great here because I was a member for years before I posted this! If anyone has a connection at anasci, let me know

We are on forums.sterod.com and have gotten a good response so far.

Thanks again!

Hi everyone,

We’ve just got a little over a week left for this! We’re hoping to get about 40 more male participants and a few more women, so check out the survey if you haven’t already. If anyone knows any good female bodybuilding sites, please let me know!

Thanks all!

Hi all,

Our research advisor wants us to continue collecting data for an extra month, so we’re keeping this up a bit longer. We currently have almost 1,700 surveys taken and 754 AAS users (400 of those have completed the survey completely). Our goal is to get 500 complete AAS surveys, so 100 more!

Take a look if you haven’t already: http://www.surveymonkey.com/touroexerciseresearch

Thanks again!

I notice we still get about 10 more survey hits after I bump here, so I want to give this a quick bump. We’ll be done doing self-promotional bumps shortly, and will just be back with interesting posts after that  Thanks everyone!

I wonder if just the amount of time and posts on here is indicative of addictive behavior.

I’m not an expert in this field. Any thoughts out there?

There’s definitely addictive behavior associated with online social outlets like discussion boards. There’s a lot of pretty cool information out there about designing viral internet social networks. It’s pretty interesting!

done.

Thanks everyone – huge help! Already have about about 10 new surveys completed since I posted this 1.5 hours ago.

We’re currently at 422 complete AAS surveys. Thanks everyone! (We have 1,940 total surveys taken.)
