Good one dre. Almost as funny as “slapnutz”, but not quite.

Hey Hack, didn’t you get enough of the professor ripping you to shreds in the “warrior” thread? Do you really want to be torn to peices by the “indomitable fool”? If so, keep posting. A few in here have already ripped into you.

But, I will gut you permanently and expose you for the gutless turd you really are. Do you really want this torture? Ask yourself. You’re not even bright enough to figure out how to win the special olympics(internet debating)… so why do you keep typing? You should have listened to Charlie Daniels… he told you never to mess with a Steeler fan, it says so right in his song “In America”. C’mon!

Good stuff guys. I’m liking the Packer argument dre, you’re making a point. But I got the counter for you. The Packers arn’t as consistant over the years and when they were winning the odds were greater to do it… there wasn’t as many teams or the competition there is now.

This day in football… almost anyteam can win the superbowl every year. This is why its getting tough to repeat as champions.
Well, can’t quite agree that any team can…there are still Lions and Cardinals out there. But the big difference nowadays is that one truly dominant side of the ball can. That was not true10-1520…years ago. You needed a full team. I mean, could you see that Baltimore or Tampa team winning the super bowl in the 60s 70s 80s or even early 90s. No chance.

The competition was actually better years ago. The athletes maybe weren’t as good, though Gale Sayers and Bronco and Red and the like certainly were great, but the league wasn’t as watered down as it is now and the guys played for blood back then. I’m not saying that a 50’s team would be dominant now, but they knew how to play football and i think might scare the shit out of half these guys playing now. Could you see Bednarek taking off T.O.'s head like Gifford. Classic.

The pPackers were the standard for a long time. That can’t be ignored when talking about the best.

Guys, guys, GUYS!! Enough with all the fighting! Let’s try to find some common ground. Can we atleast all agree that Brett Favre is a washed up sack of monkey nuts and probably can’t even put his jock on straight without an “assist” from the limp wristed Packer’s coaching staff?

Doesn’t that feel better?
He’s better than Johnson!

Favre’s downfall is the bs media. They keep touting him like he’s the player he was 10 years ago. Nobody is. He is still better than 1/2 the qb’s playing, but he is not a top player anymore, that’s for sure.

Oh brother… you’re gonna have one pissed off dre after your ass. I will have to back dre too. dissing a 4 time league MVP that plays with broken fuckin’ thumbs. Ouch!

Brett has put up some decent games this year. “Washed up?” I wouldn’t make that call yet. Brett doesn’t have the talent he once had. Expect his INT’s to be alot higher when you’re playing from behind all the time, and forcing the ball is not a bad thing when you’re going to lose anyway.

I can’t even tell if your post was sarcastic, it sounded like one of mine.

Sasquatch, I agree on the “toughness” thing. Todays players are whimps compared to those older guys, there arn’t alot of tough guys like Brett Favre in the league now. Its impossible to compare era’s though. There really is no answer for that because its apples and oranges. They didn’t have helmets back then. Those leather hats didn’t do much.

Comparing era’s in football is as difficult as comparing Bonds to Ruth, or Wilt to Jordan… it can be done, but doesn’t hold alot of ground.

I would just like to say that I had an absolutely amazing weekend because of the Steeler-Chiefs game. On Saturday, my fiance and I were at a mall in the Pittsburgh area that was holding a grand opening celebration for the new Steeler Sideline store that was opening. We had no idea the store was opening or that anything was going on. I couldn’t even tell you the last time we were at the that mall. Anyway, they had some steelers there signing autographs and Mr. Rooney cut the ribbon. They were also holding a raffle. They gave away some gift cards but the grand prize was 2 field level access endzone seats to the game and guess who won. My fiance!!! It was friggin awesome!!! We are huge steeler fans and have been going to a game or two a year for the past 4 years and usually get decent seats but being on the field was incredible. I still can’t believe she won and its over already. The fact that the steelers kicked the hell out of KC made it that much sweeter.

Anyway, that’s my cool story from this past weekend. We had a blast.

No we can’t all agree. Maker, you obviously have trouble recognizing and respecting talent. Who is your pick for quarterback?
Do we even need to get into all the other reasons for Favre’s less than perfect past seasons. Go Heavy touched on some of then, but you need to learn that blaming the quarterback, when it happens to be someone on Favre?s level, when he happens to play for a team like the Packers, doesn’t make much sense.
Enough about Green Bay, this thread is for Steelers, and of course making fun of ‘Hacky SAC’

Thanks bro. They opened it in South Hills Village.

Who’s my favorite QB? Whoever’s playing against the Pack, that’s who!

I’d normally string you along a little further since you took the bait hook, line, and sinker. My post wasn’t serious, I can recognized the talent but it’s a shame it was wasted playing all those years for such a horrid franchise. Such a tragedy.

But enough of this mud slinging, trolling the damned dirty packer fans is like, well, trying to do anything else that’s remotely related to intellect with a packer’s fan.

I look forward to my Vikings sweeping you this season, and every season thereafter. Good day to you sir!

Ah, Viqueens fans, they are so lost and misguided. It’s sad really. Here are some reasons why you are wrong and why your franchise sucks.

Alright, first and foremost, I will not respect any team that plays in a dome. Plain and simple. Football is a manly game and is meant to be played outdoors. In all kinds of weather conditions. I’ll never respect the Vikings as long as they are a dome team. Aw hell, who am I kidding, i’ll just never respect the Vikings.

Two. Chris Carter, Randy Moss, Culpepper and Hovan. Need I say more? I know that none of them play for the Vikings anymore but still…

Three. How many Super Bowls have the Vikings won? um… oh yeah, 0! The Vikings were the first team ever to appear in 4 Super Bowls though, good job. But… then they were the first team ever to lose 4 Super Bowls.

Four. That fuckin’ horn they always blow during their games. God I hate that thing.

Five. The trough urinals at the Metrodome. I want to throw that fuckin’ horn in the trough urinals.

There are some things I like about the Vikings though.

One. The late season collapse. You can count on the Vikings to usually drop 4 or 5 games at the end of the season when it counts.

Two. Losing to Arizona in 2003 to clinch the division for the Packers. That was sweet of you guys.

All in all I guess I don’t hate Vikings fans. I just feel sorry for them. They have a shitty franchise to root for. It’s not their fault.

Oh and for the love of god people it’s Packers, not Packer.

I think it should be. Why not have an opposite of the Friends list and what better name than the “Those Who Can Lick My Taint List”?

It is plural. It is more than one fudge packer.

Green Bay Fudge Packers.

Exactly! Atleast someone gets it.

Now if you’ll excuse me Zap, Leela is waiting for me.

I never asked who was your favorite quarterback. I ask who your pick would be, in his spot?

String me along? How by going off topic and not responding to my post?

Funny how now you say he has talent, and its the teams fault, before it was his fault.

Finally I never said I was a Packers fan.

I hate to be a “grammar nazi” as my spelling and grammar can often suck but it is so much nicer when people use capitalization.

(I know, Nazi should probably be capitalized).
